those goblin cars are probably what take you back & forth from goblin town & org on the highway
They have some quest usage. A racetrack for one which is kind of fun.
And the quest could easily be "ride in the car to orgrimmar" just like all the quests that have you take a flightpath from point a to b. I'm just saying this could be a strong possibility, since afaik what you ride on the highway from goblinville to org hasn't been revealed yet, and this seems a likely candidate.

Er... Jubal. I'm not sure if you're in Alpha or not, but if you are, I wouldn't post any Alpha-specific info. It sounds like you're experiencing this stuff first-hand, as opposed to through a source.
Remember - Google will pull up anything, even stuff behind spoilers. And Blizzard does use Google.
Bad news guys, if my little birdey is correct at any rate: Y'know that awesome looking car that people go "omg engineering" over? With the skull on the grill?
It's a level 5ish goblin quest thing, not a mount.
Your little bird just ruined my day. But that's alright.
That seems strange, given that they match up fairly well to the dev's picture of Goblin mounts given at last year's Blizzcon. Maybe they've changed their minds on that since, though.

Yeah, way to C&D him a solid week after he's posting EVERYTHING. I'm a tad irked about this because it's the only thing keeping me engaged in WoW. It's a cynical moves that REEKS of publicity stunt. Let the leak work its magic and THEN yank it away. Buttfuckers.
I had a hunch that is what would happen, him blowing his load as hard and as fast as he could and then clamming up and "cleaning" up his mess to appease Blizzard so he doesn't get blacklisted.
Goddamnit, all this hype about Cataclysm is making me want to play World of Warcraft again. I haven't played since, what, September 2009, really just Pre-WotLK.
Give me the lowdown of what's changed. Especially for Paladins and Hunters.
Someone tell me how Macros work again, I used to have SO MANY MACROS.
And, this is a long shot, can anyone tell me how my old server's doing? Norgannon, Alliance.

Lemme s'plain...no there is too much. Let me sum up.....
Rep grinds: you can wear tabards to gain rep with the WoTLK factions while you're running heroics 'n stuff
Looking For Dungeon: No more sitting around in town for hours and hours trying to put a group together to do a dungeon. The game does it for you now.
They got rid of pvp battleground tokens.
Deathknights!
Gearscore mod rules the world
Badge vendor stuff: there's more now. a lot more.
Quests: They got better
The Lich King:
No, it was "Okay, we got everyone excited, go and stop it."
This was 100% marketing.
It might also be delays due to tracking down the leak and/or calling the lawyers.
But I imagine it's more publicity/not caring related. They don't care THAT much but you probably always gotta make moves on this kind of shit for legal reasons.
So from what I'm hearing the gear jump from Wrath to Cataclysm is going to look more like the jump from vanilla to TBC than from TBC to Wrath. Slightly disappointing, but not entirely unexpected.

The only reason I can think of that MMO Champion got a C&D order way later than other sites is because it's not registered with Blizzard as a fansite, so the time table is expanded.
I'm sure there was some slack involved in getting the C&D out on MMO Champ though. Blizzard knows the power of hype, and allowing the tease that MMO Champion was able to get out was beneficial to them.
I'd draw a parallel to WotLK but I don't remember Blizzard doing the "screenshot of the day" thing with it, which is something they're doing with Cataclysm. That might have something to do with this, actually. In fact, I wonder if the C&D was specifically triggered because of screenshots. I know there's an NDA, but they can only enforce that on people who they know know. Leaked info is leaked info, and I haven't known NDAs to enforce that on people who just spread the hearsay.
I think there was also some legal barriers considering the Alpha client is available for anyone to download through battle.net and view the raw data/sandbox without an Alpha account.
Vanilla to TBC was fucking awesome, though, so I don't see what's the problem there.
I'm sure you remember the people who spent months upon months upon months doing level 60 end game content having to wear the same green upgrades as the lowly peons who didn't raid. They were furious, green is the new purple, etc. It was really a stupid thing to get upset about, but people will be people.
Frankly, every time I upgraded one of my level 70 epics to a new blue from a 5 man or group quest in Northrend I was happy as hell because for me getting new and better stuff is fun, regardless of the color. And yeah, considering the datamined enchants were showing minimum ilvls of 300 to cast, it seems like maybe 300 is going to be the baseline of where gear starts at level 81. I know their intention is to not have it scale up as high this time around, which will be easier, because 10/25 and 10H/25H will drop the same ilvl, instead of every new tier having to have a new ilvl for 10, 10h/25, and 25h.
Shit yeah, I hope it works that way. Getting new gear is half the fun, and I'd really rather not be getting drops and quest rewards that I just glance at and throw away for halfway through the expansion just because I played a lot of WotLK's endgame.

This. In fact I hope t10 gets upgraded pretty goddamned fast. I spent way too long in Karazhan epics while leveling through Wrath, it was retarded. Frankly if I upgrade my t10 gear fresh off the boat...ship...whatever it's going to be, that's fine and dandy by me. I'll have spent nearly a year in that gear by then.
And yeah, this C&D is really poorly-timed, and it's going to do dick-all in the long run, because too many people have access to the client at this point. Hell, there was a WotLK Wiki site that leaked every bit of information in every client patch and never took anything down, to my knowledge. They had to change hosts a time or two, but that was it. Once the internet haveth it, there's no takething it away.

I swear that Blizzard have it in for me personally...
The day I sign up for a dud gmail account, take the WoW account I've had since February of 2005, give away all my gold, delete all my characters, change my bnet details to the dud gmail account, change my account password to random junk text, delete said dud gmail account, snap all my WoW discs and zero-wipe my WoW installation off my hard drive... Blizzard start releasing Cataclysm screenshots of the day.
