basically an episode isn't complete until I read them; they're funny and they're also a way to go back over the events of an episode to kind of decompress it
Facebook is the primary way in which I interact with my friends when we are all at work or school. We plan everything through it. Living without it would be like not having a cellphone. I would miss 90% of all gatherings and nightly outings.

They won't know until you realize that you've defriended everyone you know and you're left hopelessly alone and then you come crawling back to refriend them and they're like, 'You defriended me? Fuck you, asshole.'
The worst is when you notice that you have one fewer friend than you did.
Then you spend ten minutes trying to figure out who it is until you realize that if you can't figure it out, they probably weren't that important anyways.
What I dislike about Facebook is when they add new features, they don't have you opt into them, they have you opt out of them. As someone who rarely uses Facebook (and as such has no clue when new stuff happens, although even when I used it regularly new "features" popped up without advance notice) I'm worried that at some point they'll be like "Hey, we created a new feature that tracks all of your internet activity and broadcasts it to everybody, have fun searching for the button to turn it off" and I won't know about it until my mom sends me a message that is like "Hey, why are you looking at pron in the middle of the day?"
people who get worked up one way or the other about facebook are retarded.
I dunno, I think it's pretty reasonable to be dissatisfied with the alarming rate of privacy policy changes. No matter how careful you are, you can still unknowingly give away a lot of information about ourselves away

Facebook is a totally different product from when it first started. It used to be a fun way to stalk people you went to school with (quite literally back when it said which building where you last accessed the site). Now it's just a myspace-like clusterfuck.
The privacy settings are pretty powerful at the moment though. You can pick and choose exactly what you want people or groups to see.

I don't LIKE the whole 'opt-out' thing, either, but at the same time, if you're on FB so infrequently that it might be something that goes under your radar, you probably wouldn't have a ton of info on there anyway (I would assume).

In fact, we know a couple of people that refuse to use facebook and they have missed event after event and I always say, "Look I'm sorry but I keep forgetting you aren't on facebook. My MOM is on there."
