Wait are you talking about t8? Tier 8 was probably one of our best looking sets out of all of them. It's the only one i still have in my bank after replacing... and i'm one piece away from being the happiest rogue ever and not having to look at the atrocious horde t9 set

My rogue is vain and handsome, hell, is name is Beau. Any helm that looks ugly gets turned off, which unfortunately is 99% of the leather head slot items in the game.
Just because of how bad most helm graphics have looked I just leave the helm off. Unless it's my druid's antlers. That shit is boss.
Some of the druid helmets are the shiz. My druid has this flowing purple-blue cape that I outgrew ages ago but I still keep it around because it makes me feel like the prettiest princess around.

also I hardly noticed a difference in the community when I played, except that if you ever mentioned WoW in any form at all, the playerbase would freak out and send you hate tells and attacks

Plus I'm undead so it looks cool on me... anything looks terrible on a human male model, except facial hair.
Not true, the eyepatches and some of the rogue masks look awesome on male humans. But all the helmet type head pieces look MMWEJHWEFABDCFLURGHBLURH.
