Thorgot, does this have to do with your impending move to Cambridge?

(Also, Tank & I can help you move if you need it and aren't now moving to Russia before the feds get you.)

Jewel Staite was on this old nick show.

And she is like the best celebrity ever because of it.

Aww no way! Was she the cute girl with the scream power?

If nothing else, at least I know I'm consistent with my childhood crushes.

The fact that someone else remembers this show is a miracle.

I thought it was a long shot just posting that link here.

    You and me Krunk.

    You and me.

Man, I loved that show when I was a kid! It was like Star Trek meets X-Men.

Two things, quoted from the Space Cases wiki:
    Wikipedia wrote:
The rainbow-haired Catalina is the engineer on the Christa, and quite the technical genius, though it is sometimes questionable whether her knowledge is her own or belongs to her invisible friend, Suzee, who allegedly exists in another dimension, on a planet called Yensid.

    1) Okay so she was ALSO a ship engineer and a technical genius in that show? Silliness!

    2) WTF 'Yensid' is the name of the sorcerer in 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' sequence in Fantasia (not to be confused with the terrible movie coming out in July) and is 'Disney' backwards. But it was a Nick show. Man what!

I don't get the whole spy thing.

What exactly are they telling the motherland about the US that's so damn important?

A couple of people have asked this question. Basically, it boils down to Russia wanting people in the US in case they ever needed them.
"They were here under deep cover, as a network in case Russian intelligence ever needed anything," said one law enforcement official, who like others quoted in this report spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing. "The idea was that they would become so Americanized that no one can ever find any connection between them and Russia."

Well, if ever they became active, it's a big deal.

Or maybe one (or more) of them were active, but either that information hasn't been released by the FBI, or the media isn't reporting it yet.

Well, when you acquire money illegally (say from a fraudulent Spanish Lottery scam, for example), you try and hide the source of that money by funneling it through legitimate or semi-legitimate businesses, in essence making the "Dirty" money appear "Clean". And harder for the authorities to track.
