    (unless someone stops him Toman will push gently on the door until it open enough to see beyond. If nothing hostile is visible he will slip through the door trying to maintain stealth - moving two square at a time. )

    Okay, to move things along, I require everyone to give me a square they want to start in within the room.

    Toman will have to be in one of the two squares by the door, since he'll be opening it.

    Toman, give me a strength check.

    I also need to know IF/how you will be proceeding down the hallway, (i.e. toman is going to try to stealth)
    (and roll a check if that's how you're proceeding) Remember, if you move more than 2 squares, you get -5 to your stealth roll.

    Also need initiative for everyone, to avoid confusion and peoples actions stepping over each other, etc.

    Musing to himself over the disc he shakes his head in annoyance.

    "Amaunator's light! Let's just do the door and be done with it." He says in frustration, "The sooner we accomplish our goal, the better. I say we go through the door and find what we can here."

    Start at F8 and stick close to the wall on his right as he moves down the hall,
    moving 2 squares at a time with sickle drawn*
    Stop moving if...
    - anything (significant) is seen or heard,
    - he comes to a point where he would have to leave cover or concealment*
    - it gets too dark to see

    * If there is no cover or concealment in the hall move 3 instead
    using shadowwalk to create concelment for myself

    Assuming Toman enters the hall wihtout being attacked - after travelling two squares he stops and scans the hall for a sign of a trap before proceeding.
    Perception for Traps: 1d20+6 22



    Edit: Also if no one follows down the hall he will stop after 6 squares and signal then to follow slowly.

    As Toman struggles to open the door, Radulus's interest in the Dwarven tablet is replaced by anxiety. Taking a few steps towards the door Radulus readies his hammer and calms his mind for what may come through the door.

    Reply is currentyl a work in progress! Please look at your statblock, and tell me in OOC if you've spent any healing surges or APs that aren't recorded. I'm going back through the thread as we speak.

    Also, the statblocks are getting too long/confusing with me coloring when people are bloodied, etc, and when they are not at full as far as hps/surges/aps, etc, so I'm removing the color effects.

    I will probably use map designations for "bloodied" etc....we'll see how that goes.

    This 10-foot-wide flagstone hallway abruptly drops away into a set of stairs to the north. The putrid scent of death wafts from a closed portcullis on the west side of the passage. A closed stone door seals a chamber on the east.

    To those who have passive perception above 14, or made a check:
    You hear shuffling from the room on the other side of the portcullis.

    Having warned everyone, he cautiously steps round the corner into the corridor.
    Standard: ready Visions of Blood vs the first nasty to come in range.

    The long and short of it is, keep moving in initiative up until someone gets to square E or F 17, then stop ;)

    Normally I wouldn't say this, ruining suspense and all, but if I don't, people will pause between each move, waiting to see if something happens ;)

    Toman's jaw drops, as Kallas move past without any seeming care for stealth. "Wait," he hisses, "Let us proceede cautiously. Be ready... but be quiet."

    I'm not trying to go out of turn, or anything. So if someone want to go ahead and take an action, please do so. Just trying to get a little advance info on our enemy before we alert them to our presence.

    Unless someone stops him, Toman he will move ahead slowly (2 squares at a time) relying on the corner of the room to to provide cover and letting his Shadow Walk ability fade (no concealment, but no -5 on stealth).
    If a creature is along the diagonal line at D20, C21, etc. it will have clear line of sight (unless you rule that the porticullus provides cover)


    Move to F17 - see if he can see anything in the room, then stealth back to the group (F9) to report what he sees (even if it is nothing). Assuming double move each round - takes eight rounds total, but my previous stealth should remain (unless you want me to roll it again)

    Toman mutters, "А крещи дух ще направи по-малко шум" and decides to risk a faster pace in order to gain concealment from his Shadow Walk and also in an effort to spot any enemies before they attack the group.

    Primordial Speech
    A screaming banshee would make less noise.
    Actions:
    Move to F17 as quick as possible without running, gaining concealment from Shadow Walk. If nothing reacts to his presence, return to F12 and report findings to the party. Otherwise... well I guess combat starts and we will see what happens.

    Modifier: -5 penalty for moving more than 2 squares

    Toman:
    From your vantage point, you see a zombie standing in place on the other side of the portcullis, in square C,20. You think there might be another one next to him, but the wall is blocking most of your view. The zombie shifts from time to time, and you can hear rubble or something on the floor that he's stepping on.
    When you turn back to the group to go tell them, you notice that the elf is not standing in the hallway.

    Rolan:
    As you step on the pedastle, you feel disoriented, almost as if your body is being sucked through a tube. The feeling stops as swiftly as it started and you find yourself in a silvery void seemingly without end.
    There is a strange cloud filling the void.
    Turning in place, you realize the goblin hexer is standing right next to you just in time to catch a blow from his rod to the face.

    1d20+7 vs AC = 26 HIT 1d6+1 = 7 damage
    Roll Initiative.

    Crimson, you are currently at 13 hps, and are at -4 to hit due to the cloud.
    If you move, the entire space moves with you, including the goblin.

    Essentially, you are both stuck next to each other with no chance of moving apart.

    CP, you can go out of initiative order from the rest of the party.....you get your action, then the hexer.
    It may be a few rounds before you can rejoin the rest of the party however, we'll see.

    Apologies for my delay!

    Kallas moves purposefully, but slows at Toman's hesistance. Looking back, he notices the elf's absence almost immediately.
    "Ahead can wait, we should find Rolan!" he says in alarm before hurrying back down the hallway.
    Double move back to the room.
    Stand around til my.next turn when I'll probably step on the disc...since that's what I suggested in the first place :P

    Toman raises his finger and those in the hallway begin to turn, noticing the elf wizard is no longer among their number....Radulus mutters "Fadhbanna leis an! ... inis dom le do thoil nach raibh sé ..." and having seen no indication of immediate danger from those scouting down the hall heads back to help search for the elf.

    Toman glances at the creatures in the next room to see how they are reacting to the comotion and to make sure the porticullus is not opening. He sprints back into the previous chamber, "Cacha! gwallgof wizard!" Sliding to a stop a few feet back from the pedestal, he points to the inscription and speaks, "Has anyone tried saying this word out loud? It may be a keyword to a destination. If it is, and our curious elf used the device without saying the word, he could be anywhere."

    He glances back down the hall, "Oh, and there are some corpses advancing on us from the next room... if someone would keep an eye on the hallway."

    Judging by the velocitude of the longitudinal juxtaposition in conjunction with the stars in the superstructure of the silver lining with relation to the mystical hypothesis of wang chung, you think that if you were to drop an area effect spell here it would appear in such a way as to be adjacent to both you and the hexer.     Best. Roll. Ever.

    Hmm...well this is weird, let's try something...

    Rolan smiles as he looks at the goblin, through the smoke and the haze Rolan's eyes glow a deep crimson red as an explosion rocks the world the two enemies inhabit. The fire engulfs the goblin but swirls around the elf as if backing off from it's master.
    Standard: Orbmaster's Incendiary Detonation 1d20+4 = 5 vs Rolan's Reflex Miss, 1d20+4-2(forgot to add this to the roll) = 22 vs Goblin Reflex, CRITICAL HIT! Goblin takes 10 damage and is knocked prone. He will also take 2 damage at the start of his turn.
