t knob: my mom tried to play for five minutes and then stormed off insisting that we were "little shits" for making fun of her dying to the first pit 8 times in a row.
man we kept a straight face for the first 7 carefully orchestrated plunges into oblivion and she coulden't even appreciate that.
I have no interest in playing some Kirby doodling platformer the same way I'd have no interest in playing a Zelda soccer game, no matter how fun it was
'Cause I'd rather just play a Zelda game at the end of the day
Are you seriously saying that you would care about the game if they just subbed kirby out for a different character

No
But Epic Yarn looks like nothing special outside of the art style, and I think the only reason people are even giving it the time of day is because they just threw Kirby in there
Even if Kirby being in it doesn't really make any sense

You know what Kirby game was awesome that almost no one played? Kirby Air Ride.
I wonder if I could find this for 3 dollars somewhere
Probably.
The City Mode was the best part. You ride around in a big city on your star, collecting powerups, different vehicles, and stat buffs for a set period of time and then you would do a random race with your collected stats and stuff. It was super rad all the time. While in the city mode, sometimes random wacky events would happen, like all the items are bouncing away from you, or there's a giant boss you have to beat to get super awesome powerups.

Me and my friends would do a thing in Air Ride where we'd start a race but instead of racing we would just drive past each other attacking to try and beat the other guy out
if I remember right Meta Knight and the van were the two best to use

It's the same thing that people complain about with the Star Fox series
They haven't made a proper one since SF64, and every time a new one is getting made/comes out, people look at it and moan and groan
That's what I'm doing here, because they abandoned a really tight gameplay model they had and are making off-kilter shit with the franchise instead
I meat I know you don't care about Mario games that aren't about platforming but dude
I think the main complaint with Star Fox spin-offs is that they aren't fun
I can see where you're coming from, but not liking fun games is just silly

have you been huffing paint

The difference is that other Kirby games are fun.
The other StarFox games are not fun and are low quality.
on account of andross' brain firing what me and my friends affectionately dubbed 'brainshit'
I didn't find Canvas Curse fun, though
And I see nothing appealing about Epic Yarn
Kirby Super Star was tops though

do you understand how silly that sounds

i don't get how you don't care if a game is fun or not!
that is what games are for!
get that shit away from me!
No

I loved this game. I still have it, too!

i mean it's a fun game but i dunno it just never clicked with me like it does everyone else
maybe if it was one big adventure instead of like five small games and four mini games or whatever
Shigeru just wants us all to be happy, guys
Steam Switch FC: 2799-7909-4852
the only difference between me and a fanboy
is that I really don't care if you don't agree

I love R&C, but they never really felt much like platformers, especially after the first one
Did you ever play this? Because this was rad.
