Monopoly is completely horrible because, for the majority of the game (or the entire game with 2 players) there are absolutely no decisions to be made. Roll dice, move, buy property if possible.
The only human input in the game is trying to negotiate trades between the players. It's assinine.

We used to play a variant of Monopoly where the properties were randomly distributed at the start. That eliminates the tedious roll/buy segment of the game, with roughly the same result.
Speaking of games that take forever to setup, my friends and I tried the Munchkin board game last August. Took us 20 mins to read the instructions, another 15 minutes to setup, then 10 minutes into trying to figure out the first move we gave up, put the whole thing away, and took out the Munchkin card decks we all have.
Oh god. There is a D&D book editing job available.
If I was about ten years further along in my plans.
They are also looking for a senior type position to be the head of development.
God that would suck. Working on WotC's software would be like staring into the Necronomicon of code. God, I can't fathom how shitty their code is.
Development is basically the line editing position, the people who take designers' works and polish them, check for balance, look at the bigger picture.
My question is, assuming this is for RPG Development, they really don't have anyone internally who can step up? eep.

Res, as long as you stabilize as soon as you get back, or before, you shouldn't have to redploy to afghan.
No, no, I mean go back from R&R. I know I won't have enough time left to deploy again unless they want to deploy me for like six months.
What? You don't want to go back? Pretty sure I must have missed something, because your deployment sounds pretty chill compared to mine. You should definitely go back, or did I miss something in my intoxicated state?

Thanks Carrot.
@Elf: I don't remember swearing that oath, but, you're right, that does sound pretty hot. Line up here for eternal surrender!
There's not, personally, any reason to go back to Afghanistan, other than the threat of discharge and incarceration
But, frankly, Boston sucks

Do these rules involve alcohol?

It is up there with Risk in terms of shitty boardgames that take forever and have no depth.
It's not helping.

I just used the jetpack to fly onto a tank, plant a grenade and jump off, destroying the tank.
Then I ran to a second tank and jumped on it before punching it to death.
FUCK YOU TANKS.

What? Are you playing MNC? Give me your gamertag and I'll show you how to play.

It's an auction game with a war game tacked on. Very well made, the pieces are great, doesn't take too long.
The only thing wrong with it is the pegasus monster is a bit overpowered. But that can be removed from the deck after a couple vanilla playthroughs.

No, I mean head of development for the D&D game.
