The Stakeout is fun but I'm pretty sure the SPAS is the best because of it's lack of pump action and the fact it has 8 shots, AND can be equipped with a silencer

Buuuuuut I just got the AUG, which is pretty sexy with the silencer.
Good sniping map is Havana on domination. Just plop yourself in one of the many houses overlooking B and go to work.
I run Ghost and systematically clean those houses out one by one, because everyone does what you just suggested. Or, they meet in that one goddamn death corridor where all of the shit goes down. I fucking loathe Havana. It's like a class in terrible map design. Actually, I'm a little sad to admit, I'm not thrilled with most of these maps. I like Array, because it's the only time I can use my L96, and I like Nuketown because it's just ridiculous insanity 24/7. Most of the other maps are acceptable, but not incredible. Havana can suck it, though. Oh, Crisis. I don't care for Crisis, much.
EDIT: After fucking around with different weapons in Combat Training*, I've decided that maybe I like the M14 with an ACOG. I haven't tried it in a live match yet, though. And the FAL might be better. I'm not sure.

As for the hs10 discussion, the only right move is dualwield, red camo, yellow smiley face on the sides. If you don't use it like that, don't use it.
Oh wow, I found the solution to most of my frustrations with this game. Hardcore Team DM. I can't believe how much more fun it is than regular DM. I was a huge fan of hardcore mode in W@W, but it was not fun at all in MW 2.
Also Stoner63 in hardcore is pretty ballin'. It's a sexy beast with sleight of hand.
Got Blops yesterday and just popped it in. Waiting for some updates to finish then I shall be on.

they released a patch that alleviated some fps and stuttering problems for some people, but others are still experiencing significant performance issues

i've gotten a plethora of chopper gunners on there, whereas on other maps i'm feeling good if i get like 4 kills
