Speaking of voting: Does anyone have a law they wish to bring before the Assembly? Preferably one which will find wide support from the galaxy at large.
Wasn't it in the previous game that people gave both their command counter as well as trade good and card counts after each action taken? I remember doing that at least.
2) Players then vote upon the agenda. Voting is done clockwise one player at a time, starting with the player to the left of the Speaker (thus the Speaker will always cast the last vote). When voting, a player has as many votes as the total combined influence value of all his unexhausted planets (and a minimum of 1 vote).
And I believe this is the current influence (OP is not updated for recent actions exhausting planets). The L1Z1X would seem to be the only ones with something to lose, here, and even they wouldn't be losing much.

I would show solidarity with my death-loving robot neighbours, but frankly that would just let someone who votes after me have the potential to negotiate for 1 of those trade goods. I'd make a deal with my death-loving robot neighbours in preparation for this event, but it's probably not worth holding things up.
Besides, I believe the Xxcha would have to vote against for this to have a chance of stopping, and I'm guessing that won't be happening somehow :P
Our calculations show that the biological entities will vote against this proposal in order to remain on the "friend" side of our friend/foe scale. Therefore, the votes entered so far are erroneous and should be reversed.
Spend 1 Command Counter from your Strategy Allocation area to refresh any number of your Planet Cards with total combined resource and influence of 6 or less.
I would assume so; that's why I reminded you of it.
And now:
Secondary: Double Efforts
Spend 1 Command Counter from your Strategy Allocation area to immediately build up to 3 units in one of your systems containing one or more friendly Space Dock, even if you have activated the system already. Building units here does not activate the system.
In order to build a new Space Dock on a planet, the
following requirements must be met:
1) The system (that contains the planet on which you
want to build the Space Dock) has just been activated,
and is currently at the “Production” step of the
Activation or Transfer Sequence.
2) The active player must have controlled the planet
for the entire current round. Thus, it is not possible
to build a Space Dock on a planet that has just been
acquired during the current round.
3) The planet does not already contain a Space Dock
(only one Space Dock per planet is allowed).
4) The system does not contain any enemy ships.
Umm.. he's doing this in his home system, right? He's had that since the beginning of the round, and there is a second planet to drop the space dock on.
Yeah so if it's ok if I discard that Political card, my official move changes to
[strike]Build 2x Carrier, 4x Ground Force, Spadedock using Production in my Home system, discarding political card, 1/3/2 all planets tapped, 0/0/0 for Action cards, Trade Goods, Political Cards[/strike]

When you discard a political card, please quote the text of the card.
Actually, we might need MrB or Rend for a rules clarification - as L1Z1X pointed out, Space Docks can only be produced when the system is activated and then during the Production step of the activation sequence.
The Production strategy says that you can produce units at a space dock, without activating the system. So it looks as if you in fact cannot make a space dock right now. Sorry; I'm rusty here.

As for trade goods, those are in the OP and are updated every time I update the game.
Speaking of updating, probably sometime today.

Working out our decision right now.

Edit: PLAY. Exhaust Maaluuk and place the counter in the Command Pool.

Was at 1/3/2-S/F/C. Go to 3/3/3
Anyone?
SA/FS/CP
TG/AC/PC
or something like that.
It's just that it harms only the lesser peoples.
We'll take a quick look at the new political cards before deciding what to do with it.
We'll permit the Letnev to propose a law, as requested.

If I recall correctly, person to the left of the Speaker votes first, and that would be me, right?

One more stinking resource and I could have built 2 carriers and 4 ground forces and a space dock, which is what I really wanted. Oh, well.
