I shoulda taken multivariate calc this semester instead
Yup. You suck. That is all.
I figured that if I took calc again this year, I'd end up with one of the awful lecturers I had last year. As it turns out, I got one of them for group theory so it didn't matter in the end.
A friend just asked me if I know of a good software to crawl the web (likely Facebook) and gather data, to analyse and gather social statistics. Anyone got a suggestion?
Man what are you even supposed to say when people bust out a war veteran statement to frame a discussion about the existence of R18+ for video games? As far as I can tell the whole point of that move is to replace an absence of data with an uncomfortable inability to topically address any part of their statement.

Is this trying to frame it as "R18+ is Un-Australian"?

No it's some random comment where the guy opens with "I'm a vietnam vet", but basically launches into "well society is getting very violent" and "I don't think people can tell the difference between games and real life".
Basically it's full of crap, and I'm just stuck thinking, how do you attack this?
I decided to make a roundabout point that the treatment of vietnam vets was largely the result of generalizations and a refusal to consider perspective, but only coz it's the internet. In practice, I have no idea what you'd do if someone said that in like, a public forum.

"What a stupid fellow. Anyway, let's ignore him and get on with it."
Is the "promo" version the same as the real version?
Promo version of assassins creed brotherhood for the Sony ps3 mint. As this is a promo version it has no instructions and comes in cd case
Informative! :P
A few years ago I got a "For Your Consideration" version of a movie's soundtrack. It had no fancy graphics, but all the music was there. What I'm trying to learn is whether this is a similar thing.

Ignore the "I'm a vietnam vet" statement and just address his other statements.
Being a vietnam vet has nothing to do with the argument at hand so you should treat it like any other useless, irrelevant piece of information.
Also cause it's the internet, he's probably not a vietnam vet.

Group theory is utterly trivial to a certain point and then becomes utter nonsense. The divide is generally when you try to apply it to a real world system, like crystal structures to try and generate phonon modes.

Dude, just message the seller assuming there's enough time left on the bid.

Its probably a reviers version of the game
usually they're fully versions but sometimes slightly earlier builds if they're rushed out ahead of the game.

There is nice christmas music playing in this Au Bon Pain, like a church choir type deal
and I keep expecting it to morph into the Zanarkand song from FFX

This is what I would post: "Well, I'm a war veteran as well. In fact, I was the sole survivor of the Akuz Incident. I've seen more battle than you could ever hope to see in your lifetime. Have you ever had a whole string of missions you could only describe as Soldier Insanity? Well I have. And I tell you, I can tell the difference between games and real life."
They look like a giant stuffed animal. So awesome.
haha I know, I sat there for five seconds trying to figure out if it was real, or one of those stuffed ponies in Toys'R'Us I had tried my damndest to acquire when I was teensy
