My santee should have their gift any day now. Sadly it doesn't compare to some of the others but I'm hoping they still like it
In future years can everyone remember to stagger their gifts? PS3, Kindle etc must be sent towards the tail end of January! And I'll kidnap Mrs P's painting as soon as it's done to prevent that getting anywhere till the 31st December when everyone else has had chance to compete.
So, can't sleep, and sat thinking about SS triangles. If I could face trawling through pages and pages of posts, I could possibly work out who my Santa is - that is assuming my santee has been identified by his santee. Life is too short for that level of effort right now, I'm very happy to be surprised next week!
I like surprises, so if you've already worked it out, don't tell me!

You will need to ignore the fact that the box looks like it has already been opened as I um might have ordered some stuff from amazon myself and tore into it before realising this was my secret santa gift
My SS who I am guessing is wobblyheadedbob, if the gifting triangles continue their trend, got me some amazing books.
Inside the box was the following message "Adda! I hope this makes it to you in time. I have heard fantastic things about both these books. Hope you don't already have them!"
Not only do I not already own these books but I think they look amazing. Had a quick flick through them and I can tell I will really enjoy settling in to spend some quality time with them over the christmas holidays.

So I heard the doorbell ring this afternoon, and even though I never answer the door for anything ever, something told me to go check it out. Upon cautious inspection, I saw that two boxes had breached the perimeter!
One was for my mother, but the other was an Amazon box with my name on it. :D
Thinking it might have been left by a jolly red-suited intruder, I dragged it away for examination.
Huzzah~!
Lacking a cheer-sniffing hound to assist me, I call in a dinosaur (Steggy) to inspect the contents.
Steggy restrains the wild box, while I fire up the camera.
Tearing open the box reveals.... Air! Packaged individually in travel-size pouches. These will serve Steggy well during his next moon expedition.
Oh my! There were more packages hiding under the air, waiting to ambush us. But Steggy stares them into submission.
The golden package bears a mysterious, yet cheerful message.
Civil War: A Marvel Comics Event! I have heard about this and it seemed interesting. Looking forward to reading it. :D
The blue package reveals Akira to be my Secret Santa. It seems we've formed yet another gifting triangle, as I was the Santa of Santa's Santa. XD
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn! Good choice! I remember playing my sister's copy of Golden Sun on Gameboy Advance, years ago, and enjoying it. (Also, it might be some sort of play on words, since my name is Dawn.) :D

And I realised after opening everything that the proxy message I got before held clues about the gifts.
Just a heads up, your package should be arriving early next week, probably on or shortly after the 20th. There is also a slim chance it could get there on the 17th, but probably not.

I just want to say thanks to Ah_Pook who has gifted me Super Meat Boy on steam already. Sorry for not saying this earlier but I've had just about the worst possible dentist aftermath (17 days later and I still can't open my jaw!).
Also as a note to my santa, I did send it out on the 13th but it's going to Canadaland and I'm not entirely sure what the international post is going to be like with the weather and all (and as an aside, I was quite heavily infected/fever running when I wrote the note so it probably doesn't make sense).

Santa, hope you don't mind, but I'm waiting to open and post pics of all my stuff on Christmas, or when the forums come back up after. Apparently one of my gifts was opened early by my family (large hardbound book) on account of the mail-person doing her best to cram that sucker into the mailbox so hard she bent a curve into it. They're doing thier best to get it flat again. It will be re-wrapped and I'll open it with the rest of the stuff. I haven't seen it yet, though- saving it for Caturday.
My manager shouted at me last week when I was wrapping up my present. Not because I was doing it in works time, but because I was making a shoddy job of it. He made me unwrap everything and start from scratch. Ahh, the Christmas spirit is alive, even in soul crushing work.

I have received all of four packages today, 3 of which I know were of my own order. One of which comes from coolstuffinc where I have shopped in the past, but do not recall having placed an order recently. I wonder if this is a gift from a santa. With that said, I also wonder if I should open it now to find out.
I just got back from the post office, G&T Santee stuff has been sent. Of course, in my haste I forgot to include a note or anything justifying the gifts, not that Lego sets ever needs to be justified, but that's only a small part of the package.
