so, since the tracking tells me that my package made it through and was successfully delivered, I'm guessing my guy decided to eat all the sweet things first and entered a diabetic coma or some such thing. Which is weird, because there weren't that many actual sweetie things in the box.

I'll admit to something here: there is one gift in that box that got bought because "why not" went through my head. it'll be pretty easy to tell which one it is too. kinda ashamed of it now.

Rolo did indeed get you awesome gifts. ME1 & 2 alone is a serious win, and Burnout Paradise is the only driving game I've ever seriously enjoyed. I haven't played the others but they look like seriously Good Stuff!™
Also, because of Rolo and youse, I've now reinstalled Steam. Uh-oh!
The only downside to Burnout Paradise is the amount of free content they released that I had to install. Damn them and their generous spirit!
But no on a more serious note, going through the menus of Burnout Paradise to play the game is basically navigating a storefront where they want you to buy a million pieces of DLC before you get to play the game. They did release some heavy free updates but after the first three or so it's all been paid DLC, and they push it hard. But once you get into the game it is seriously good times.
Although I guess it depends on how much you like navigating a city to get from A to B. If all you want is a set lap where you can fixate on shaving milliseconds off your lap time as you do the same rounds over and over again, you probably won't enjoy Burnout Paradise much. If you're like me and you enjoy a bit more of a sandbox, then you'll (probably) love it.
It hasn't been my main game of choice in almost two years, but even now it's good for just driving around for half an hour, listening to tunes and ramming cars off the road.
Last year I think hunter's present showed up just before Christmas as well. So I am still hopeful for presents.
