    This makes me nervous, especially considering what Mike and Jerry have said about why they don't do political humor in the past.

    Some of us look to PA as a haven from this sort of real-world shit. Please guys, just stick with vidya game and wang jokes. :(

    Penny Arcade has never shied away from offending people of all sorts, now and again, dunno why politics should be any different. As a percentage of the comics they've put out, politics and religion are a pretty small percentage of the topics they cover.

    Maybe its because I watch too much Daily Show but its hard for me to really think of this as a political comic.

    I mean, the extent at which some people blame any and all problems on Obama is a complete joke. It's not a political perspective, its simply pointing out that some people are incredibly stupid.

    Which PA does all the time.

    This is a comic about stupid people.

    The difference is that one is a noble pursuit and the other one is a political comic.

    God, I actually got a slice of this for Christmas. Went to spend Christmas Day with my future in-laws. Instead of watching A Christmas Story, Muppets Christmas Carol or one of the many thousands of Christmas specials what do watch for hours? FOX fucking News.

    I wouldn't worry about political jokes from PA. It looks more like a joke on being forced to watch news with the parents, and who on Earth wants to do that?

    Still, a fourth panel on this would be funny. Especially a fourth panel on the "religion" strip.

    It depends on the observer. If you believe it's the latter, then that's also making it the former as well. Especially as the thread is going.
