Given the nature of the attack, it didn't seem unreasonable to include the drummer in the explosion. Of course, keep poking him like and he's going to stop drumming and start fucking you bitches up.
I think we'll take one pissed off drummer dude rather than everyone else getting all the bonuses from the drumming.
Of course, that is until Dal gets a face full of magical-pissed-off-Drummer-dude-rage.
Yes, I'm enjoying the mechanics I gave the drummer. It is a shame that Kal's thunderstone didn't work earlier.
Yeah, there have been some unlucky breaks for the team, but I'm sure we'll pull it out.
Of course, Dal won't be responsible for any of it. It will more be in spite of Dal... but, you know... lol
It looks nothing like as bleak as the combat with the Rejecteds did.

T: EM I thought the terminator seed thing was A. not something they went forward with and B. a process utilized before genetic engineering (by breeding next-generation sterile polyploid hybrids)
It just seems to me like a bunch of people going "but they're bad!" for no real reason
As far as I can tell, the arguments are generally about intellectual property and the way gmos distort farming practices even more than they already are, exploiting farmers and so on. Things like patening the gmo, when you're incapable of preventing its natural dissemination by wind and insect, and then suing farmers who end up having your gmo on their land.
Also the attempt to remove agriculture from its normal cycles by making it entirely under corporate control
I think some people are afraid that it will eventually be illegal or even impossible to grow your own food
The only problem with this is that I am fairly certain none of this has happened, or is going to happen.
I could be wrong though.
I'm pretty sure the farmer getting sued thing actually happened with monsanto
Also they are doing some weird shit with seeds that only give you one harvest before you have to go buy more
They've sued farmers and their contract does forbid saving seeds which is a pretty common practice. I don't have a lot of issues with GMOs in agriculture but Monsanto is pretty damn evil.

You know what, I've been waiting for the next chat to talk about this, but buried was a pretty good movie.
Saw it on the plane.

man, I wish I could appreciate poetry but being forced to learn it in school really took away any enjoyment I got from reading it
I was all "why should I care that the crooked path leading to the house the child drew in Sestina symbolises Bishop's desire for a stable household when I could be doing something useful like calculus"

WGBH Boston, PBS station that produces like, half their shows
Exactly.
That is pretty neat!
There are no steaks.
What is your problem with it
This is the most misleading game title ever.
I think that is largely unfounded with what little modification is actually done
The main character is a steak.
Those are silly, uninformed people. It saddens me.
I was hoping maybe there was another, compelling argument driving them, specifically, that I was unaware of
i think the ecological argument is almost as vocal as the others, and is much more rational
and he has a lot of steak-y brothers!
as i said before, i like that the guy in charge of these videos always looks kind of disgusted and guilty

which is and has been a problem since before GMOs
its why i am a proponent of heirloom strains of vegetables
i've only watched the one.
Saw it on the plane.

so we need some legislature all up in this bitch forbidding forbidding to save seeds
everywhere
I do declare
How'd it go?
the comic? ehh
but the alt-text is excellent
I'm going to take high-school higher maths and some physics so I can study engineerish things
which I want to do
but socioeconomics is fun too
This is a thing I did not know.
yes, but chaucer I isn't required, just strongly recommended
It's just a different way of adding another gag to it.
kinda funny given how many get killed by the pesticide used on the corn that hfcs is made from
Really?
