he is a minor supporting character from Doom Patrol, an awesome but pretty obscure comic about superheroes and modern art. he later got his own miniseries that is considered a classic among comic fans but it has never ever been reprinted and the originals go for like $300+ a pop on eBay.
he is also a loving parody of the old Charles Atlas bodybuilding ads from 50s comic books:
You know it must suck for rich people. I mean if you want to do a line of coke you have to keep ordering underage children for this purpose. And they probably fidget and shit screwing up the line.

As The Man of Muscle Mystery, Flex Mentallo's powers are apparently vast but ill-defined. In a general sense, Flex can affect reality by flexing his muscles, in a reverse form of mind over matter.

I wish I knew how much of my depression was chemical and how much was not.

Yeah I mean, I definitely get the idea. Most people I've known with any sort of emotional/mental issue kind of feel like they have "real" personality traits/emotions and then "extra" ones that get forced on them by a disorder.
But I think that's not really an accurate or effective way to look at it. Yeah the person I know with an anxiety disorder knows that their anxiety is irrational and is embarrassed by it, but they still need to deal with being "very anxious" as a character trait. Dealing with the disorder involves reducing that trait, whether it is through attacking the chemical causes of "fake" feelings of anxiety or the chemical/physical/emotional causes of "real" anxiety that they'd feel regardless. There's not a lot of reason to separate them out, because I feel like that just makes it seem like only the aspects of the disorder that can be addressed chemically are relevant.
Although I feel like kind of a fraud talking about this outside an academic context because I basically ignored Clinical.

but if, say, the radius of the sphere is in angstroms (1.0E-10 m), the result needs to have the cubed root taken of it in order to be in angstroms cubed, right?

Colorist: Gabby Glinys Fein!
Letterer: Lazy Larry Smith!
Exactlol as plolnned.
