I know way too much about all of my male friends' sex lives. All of them. In a couple of cases, I know too much about their bowel movements too.

I hear far too much about my women-friends' periods than I need or want to know. It's a bloody shame, really.

I know many more awful things in much more detail than I would care to due to the internet, I am not necessarily ashamed to admit it because I imagine you're all in a similar situation.

I thought the Enlightened liberal thinking on this was it doesn't matter what you fap to as long as nobody gets hurt. Shaming is a tool of the devilish, uptight conservative whereas sensible liberals applaud diversity and sexual exploration and free condoms and legalized weed, etc.

i don't think that this board is really homogeneously liberal in the way that you imply.

also, it strikes me as kind of an aggressively hyperbolic characterization of "liberal" sentiments on this sort of thing.

like, the fundamental disconnect here isn't whether people are comfortable talking about sex- it's whether people have the social awareness (rooted in basic empathy, by the way, liberals) to respect the feelings of others

and if you can't observe that a friend is uncomfortable, or worse observe it and pounce on it to further your 'point'... you're the regressive, not him

I wasn't sure if he meant boor or bore and it was a typo, or if it was a deliberate metaphor using the fact that boar are quite aggressive and generally given to crashing about.

like, the fundamental disconnect here isn't whether people are comfortable talking about sex- it's whether people have the social awareness (rooted in basic empathy, by the way, liberals) to respect the feelings of others

and if you can't observe that a friend is uncomfortable, or worse observe it and pounce on it to further your 'point'... you're the regressive, not him

I just put this under the "dont be a dick" umbrella

If someone doesn't want to talk about something, or be around something, or whatever, the polite thing is to not do that thing

Clarification: I'm not making fun of chu in anyway, I just love making lazy image/youtube clip posts and I don't really care about the backstory of whatever inspired my limited imagination to post a pic of a talking boar.

edit: I also love run-on sentances and poor punctuation. I need to take highschool english again.
