It really seems like you are either looking for things to not like or are applying things outside of the story itself into the story.
You are saying that the questions are stupid because the Avengers Academy kids don't know the genre conventions and archetypes that Spider-Man carries with him.
When he says "shell companies etc" he actually has a point, Peter Parker could have done that. But he doesn't because, well, Superhero comics aren't realistic.
The only honest answer to that question is "because Spider-Man is Spider-Man and we accept the genre convention that he doesn't do that stuff." Which Spider-Man can hardly say in the actual comic. I'm not saying the questions are stupid because the kids don't know the genre conventions, I'm saying the questions are stupid because they shatter the genre conventions which Spider-Man needs.
I am not looking for reasons not to like ASM. I want to want to want to like ASM but at every turn it seems that Dan Slott is taking a cool idea and then putting it in with something that is terrible or using the idea in a really bad way. And that sucks because man I really could love this series if it wasn't for those little bits.
And if 'Supervillain' is a race, are The Thunderbolts Marvels equal oppurtunity employment program?
No, they're race traitors!

I don't think Hobgoblin's been a supervillain long enough yet to start recovering already. It would be cool to have him on the team, with the old guards Songbird and Moonstone not being particularly pro-goblin.

It just shows that Peter would rather not earn money via a shell corporation. He's not that kind of guy.
The end.
You are really looking way too much into a cutesy reference to Batman Inc.
That's my response anyway. Someone else thinks that's fine then that's fine for them! but for me it was like "ehhhhhhhhh...."
Deadly Foes, an extra-sized one shot by Slott, Van Lente, and Gage focusing on Hobgoblin and Jackal.

Spider-Shocker! I hope anyway, more likely just a variant cover or something. And this is just nifty:
See, that's why Marvel won't let the UK write any more original stuff!
But Tex this means my Moonstone miniseries will never get to be seen on paper!
This looks like it might be fun.
Seems more like his common sense to me.
