I picked up Tiësto's Elements of Life yesterday, because whenever last.fm would play the 62-minute full-album mix it was like winning the goddamned musical lottery.
next time you're at a live concert trying walking in there with a recording setup Bucket
see how well that goes
Actually, this seems to be fairly commonplace, at least in my personal experience. It has happened at a Ben Folds concert I attended, as well as 3+ live trance sessions I've attended (2 in Detroit, 1 in Memphis) and though it wasn't me who was recording, it was allowed if not encouraged.
Wouldn't that mean that linking to any Live performance or music videoclip located on youtube (something that happened often on these forums) be a jailable offense. Or is Youtube above these "laws" ?

yeah, it's still illegal to distribute live sets without permission dude.
it's not the recording that has copyrights but the song itself.
Live sets are not in the public domain by any stretch of the imagination.
A while back I saw Thomas Dolby and BT play here in town. In the advertisements it very clearly and specifically stated that BT would be doing a live set consisting of his latest album, This Binary Universe. TBU is a rather slow-paced, mellow as hell sort of concept album with some fantastic visual accompaniment that is really best served as a sit-back-and-listen sort of deal. They had a great, clear-yet-bassy professional 5.1 setup in the concert hall so it sounded fucking incredible and the 15-foot projection of the video was equally sharp. However, as stated, this is not the sort of thing I expected to see a small crowd of binky-wearing PLUR-mumbling candy raver shitbricks at. But there they were, stretching and cracking glowsticks while BT's roadies helped him set his shit up. Three songs in, every single one of them left with a shocked, confused look; guess they didn't get the memo.
You can mock scratching and DJ'ing all you want, I could give a shit, until you cunts can do something like this you stupid motherfuckers.
Captain! His drunkeness has reached critical leveless! She can't take much more!
Actually, I ran out of vodka around a half an hour ago; you can try to mock me, but frankly, I don't really give a shit; if you don't like electronica, you don't have to post here. If you are a fan, then you'd recognize that Zabiela is one of the top DJ's in the world right now, and that he's going nowhere but up.

Scratching and remixing live on the fly is one hell of a talent, and those who can do it well should be revered.

It's not like I dislike techno or anything, but that's pretty boring.
