I'd just like to say that in my head, right now Tim Schafer and notch are locked into a conference room, making out, blinds shut, and the entirety of Double Fine is leaning next to the door and sticking their ear on it.
What you're saying is
In the conference room
People are getting
trenched?
Nah, I'm saying Tim is putting his iron brigade into notch.

Just to ignore the more interesting news...
I wouldn't mind a Bulletstorm sequel, but I'm more than happy to let it die on the altar of "Finish your fucking games, people!". Punting your ending to the sequel should only be done if the sequel is already greenlit and people are already in a room somewhere working on it. And even then, you're pushing it.
Double Fine doesn't make hugely high-budget games for the most part. A million isn't chump change, it goes a long way when you're making a game like Psychonauts.

Brutal Legend was something of a flop, if I remember correctly
I'm also assuming that the game will still be a full-length 3D action-platformer and not a small-budget indie sidescroller or whatever.
The only thing that worries is that Mojang has always been a small company, and that's which allows it a lot more freedom to do interesting things. If they took on a big project like Psychonauts they may lose a little bit of their indie charm.

we're getting a new thread just in time.
I feel no small amount of pride.
Quick, someone ask me if that's the same thing as him trenching notch.
is that the same thing as him trenching notch?
These are two completely different things!
Okay, lock the thread.... nnnnnnnnnnow!
Which is to say that I never played Minecraft, either.
it is also amazing but still

Not to mention the pocket edition of minecraft, and once the xbox version comes out that will probably sell very well too.

But... Wouldn't it cost more than a few million to make?
But I mean Notch has at least, what, 35 million? Likely more around 40.
Dude could probably finance at least half-3/4 of the costs by himself if he really wants to get it made.
This assumes he doesn't want to spend all of his money.
