My grandfather died yesterday, he was 91. I spent the whole day in the hospital with my mom. Funeral is Tuesday. He was OSS in World War II; he had incredible fortitude. I'll miss him, and I look forward to being able to honor his legacy.

After an insanly shitty week of taking care of the house while my aunt and uncle were away on vacation and putting up with my cousin's bullshit of partiying and making a huge mess of the house I just got told I need to look for a new place to live this month.

last night I ate some sleeping pills and was asleep by like 10:30
It's now 11:40 and I don't really see myself getting out bed anytime soon.
I slept in today. Sleep is amazing when you get it, guys.

I went through that for years. For the past 5 months or so I've only been getting about 4 hours of sleep a night. Been working 10 hours a day pretty much 6 days a week for the last 4. Trying to juggle a personal life with that hasn't been easy.
Getting some sleep last night and this morning was like a gift from heaven. Sorry that you're having trouble with sleeping.
Yesterday I went to a friend's place and hung out for a bit, played some ping-pong, basketball (where I think I sprained my thumb) and frisbee.
Then got home, got my financial aid info from my college next year, and everyone was happy, then hung out for the rest of the night doing random shit then realizing it was 1 am and decided to go to sleep.
Today I'm going for a walk with my dad, playing ultimate frisbee, going swimming, watching movies, and hanging out, all with a bunch of friends.
Tomorrow the plan is to go on a roadtrip with my good friend, be gone the whole day, and then get back in time to watch last week's Game of Thrones and this week's episode with another friend.
Then Monday I have off from school, but I'll be there all day supervising contestants in a one-act competition in the lighting room and helping run problem scenes with some of my cast for our own one-act group.
@Sheri is going to a baseball game, so obviously I'm going to play video games and eat Chinese food all night. Also probably finally sit down and write something for Orik's site

I might go see Tim Tebow give a little sermon/speech in Georgetown Sunday for my internship. My brother says I should go take a picture with him, but I doubt I'll have that chance.
I got done with my seasonal job last night. Going climbing with my girlfriend this afternoon, then to some bbq party, then to some friends of hers for easter brunch. Should be awesome.
Shitty to hear about that, Weaver. I gotta ride every day to and from work, and there isn't a day that goes by where I gotta play serious mind games with traffic while using crosswalks, and crossing parking lot entrances. That's also the reason I never ride at night, unless i'm super desperate for something.
In any case, my weekend will consist of buying a bracket so I can hang my modem on my wall, doing laundry, and trying to find something to do for Sunday. Most of my friends are despicably lazy people, or live too far away and don't want to spend the gas. Maybe I'll try SecondLife this weekend, see if I can locate something other than really weird crap.
