You can literally google "Epic Tyranids for Sale" and get several sellers in the top results. It's not necessarily cheap (because its OOP), but it's available.
I was about to ask how to do the "let me google that for you", but I figured I had better just google it.
The place I play has tons of Epic, but I've never played. They have a copy of Hive War, but I guess that has no minis. I really like the idea of more dudes and bigger battles. That sounds like fun.

Epic: Armageddon only had Marines, Orks and IG as official lists. Some supplements added Eldar and a variant IG list, but Chaos and other things like Tyranids were unfortunately left to other devices. So it can be kind of a bitch to find Epic 'nids minis . There's still stuff floating around from previous editions, and some of the tyranids 40k models can be used really easy as bio-titan conversions.
You forgot Squats. I'm swimming in epic squats over here.
(I know they weren't in Armageddon. I just like having a whole army of squats. )

Hive War was the Tyranid expansion for Titan Legions/Space Marine. Basically the Codex Tyranids for the game. I doubt they're playing Titan Legions though, that's oldschool.
I love CMO because they give us lots of free product support for the Bugeater GT.
This is why I shill CMO at every opportunity. They're pretty big on fostering the community with store credit/prizes/etc. They may not have a rewards program (although I've talked to Mark about this) or carry everything TheWarStore does (and I'm working with Mark on this) but since I got into 40k at age 13 they've had an impact on my hobby career with their free stuff.

I had an awesome game last night. Our store is doing a 2250 tourney in late April to shake things up a bit. I won't be able to attend but I was interested in trying out that many points in a regular ole game and giving someone a practice. Full batrep here written by my opponent.
I'll talk aboot my list a bit:
I'll have the tyrannofexes and tervigons painted for a 1,000 point tourney in May. They're so huge it is like painting an action figure.
The tervigons are there to provide synapse, gants, FNP, and one would score. I put the warrior prime in for some more synapse and power weapon. He joined the venomthropes to allow me to take missile shots etc and not insta-die. The warriors are there to spread synapse and shoot stuff.
The meat of the list are the carnifexes, tyrannofexes, and hive guard. They're super tough and shoot a lot. They march forward under cover from the venomthropes and shoot everything. Unfortunately in this game I put the carnifexes too far forward so they got pulped by some terminators really quickly. That was a huge mistake. I really like the unit even though they're not very good. I love the way they look and intimidate people.
I think if I were to change the list for the tourney I would take out the carnifexes and put in another gant squad, another terivgon as a troops unit, another tyrannofex, and fill out the warriors squad to six dudes or make two squads of three. They were awesome for synapse and shadow in the warp. Plus even at their base equipment they can kill marines pretty well.
More specifically, now that I have multiple armies in multiple systems, I don't just want to keep tons of partial sprues sitting around. I need a way to organize my bits, and divide them up by 40k/fantasy and respective army. Even some semblance of order within an army would be nice (Guardsmen bits, tank bits, etc.) It needs to be a fairly small footprint, since it'll sit on my desk for accessibility.
I'm thinking of one of those white/clear organizer things from Target. The trouble is, I also need a paint organizing solution so I'd like to kill two birds with one stone. Any ideas?

You've seen those small compartmented cases I use. They're handy, portable and cheap. However, for something that works good as part of a dedicated work area, an organizer like the one from Target or a craft store like Michaels work really well. Ein had a badass one that he labeled and rigorously organized, but he was kind of obsessive like that.
CMO does carry Finecast. CMO also does 25% off GW, compared to the normal 20% for most retailers.
Should point out, CMO shipping on GW products is $10 flat rate I believe, unless you order $100+ then they ship for free.
I'll have to check them out. BTW, you did see my IM that you are FORBIDDEN from selling your epic models, yah?
I did...I maintain that if you have enough Epic 40k for the whole group, I probably don't need to keep my 25,000 points of it.
More models is always superior to fewer models. You will bring Epic to our next gaming night, and there will be awesomeness had by all! And BFG too! It will be the special specialist night for all!
Although if you want to trim down your collection a little... how many Thunderhawks and Orbital Landers do you happen to have?
I don't know what possessed 15-year old me to buy 129 tactical stands, but by golly I did. That's not even including the IG/Eldar/Orks either.
It's all buried in my parents' basement, next time I'm there I'm going to grab it and try and go through it. Maybe I'll let PA'ers buy what they want before I send it out to BTP for a trade in.
After all, there's probably enough there for all of us to play Epic together.

Between you duders and some PM's, I'm inclined to think I should get down to VA sooner rather than later and bring in my Epic haul.
I should warn you, because the collection is assembled from various bartertown/ebay listings, there's a huge variety of unpainted/primed/painted stuff. So get your simple green ready.

I would just like to make my BT army in epic scale. So odds are I'll be stripping it to add BT details where I can anyway (titans, vehicles, etc.).

Hey Mich, you wouldn't happen to have a lot of spare epic bases laying around too? One of the reasons why so many of my epics are piled in cases is serious lack of bases.
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing no. I believe the Orks I have are relatively new, and thus come with bases that they're not glued to yet, but that probably doesn't help you.

Yeah, I'm talking about the rectangular bases with the circular depressions for fitting the little guys into, which would come with the modern kits moreso than the old ones. :P
Well I've got a bunch of the modern rectangular ones with 5 depressions for infantry, but I've also got the square ones that have 5 in a pattern the way the 5 pips are on a d6:
Edit: I hope I can still find the crashed Landspeeder objectives I made!
GW was also present during dialogue recording. I wasn't present for that but from those who were, I can say that in canon, Space Marines are fully capable of sexual reproduction, but choose not to. I have no idea if the hypothetical offspring would be human or Astartes.
Sitting in the hospital with my wife and new Marine so this is all from my phone.

I didn't say they were the biggest, just that they were one.
I'd rather put my 2k Tyranid list against any 2250 GK list than any 1500 DE list.
Yeah. That serious.
Also, Matrias that dude is fucking rad. I like the colors.
Nax brought me a compressor for my airbrush. If I decide to get off my ass we may see some imperial fists soon!
