So how about that near-distant-future? Pretty cool mecha-doggies.
I think I'm pretty well done with MW3 for the most part. I may jump on for the ocassional bullet-hose-spree, but that'll be rare. I've moved over to BF3, and there are actually fun things to do (C4 + jeep + bailout = BOOM, TANK!).
As usual, I'll probably pick up BO2 a couple months after release to join in on the fun/hate. Really hoping they fix some of the stuff that ruins the game so hard.

It seems super ineffective to have a stationary front mounted cannon on a quadruped vehicle.
Like, I'd simple move a few feet to the left and wait for you to turn your big ass around.
You do see that cannon on the top, right? Pointed sideways? :P
I think that forward mounted gun is to ensure that the shortest distance between two points is ALWAYS a straight line, regardless of what's in the way.
Also, I too was hoping for more "real" stuff from the next BlOps. Though Future Warfare is cool and all, it should be it's own title and not a sequel.
So in other words, I'd be fine if it's called CoD9:BlOps2:Future Warz or something.

Horses. Also, totally called it on the spinning burning helicopter. Also, isn't what happens in the trailer almost like what happens in MW2? The bad guys get the keys to something and the US and is unable to notice the huge ass Russian fleet because it also effects the eyes. At least in this case it makes more sense. They're all robots! That's one thing Treyarch has over IW.
I was more excited about the horse riding scene than the other cool future shit. Definitely looks like they're going to try and top the MW series in holy fuck moments.
I'm glad they didn't just go with the robot army turning on the creators.
Definitely looks ridiculously good. I'm hoping this "future warfare" thing is just the kind of shake-up Call of Duty needs to get the series feeling fresh again. I'm excited, because even if the multiplayer is bad, the single-player looks like such a cool ride. Still ... doing my best not to hop on board the hype-train until we know how it's going to look under the hood.
I'm pretty sure all the Hype(reveal) trailers are from single player cause I always remember that there has to be a helicopter that gets shot down and it goes into its death spin.
With the exception of WaW. That one had zombies and flames, I think.
Don't really feel what they are doing with this. Also like others have said this doesn't really feel like "black ops" when giant mechs and drones are flying around all crazy.
Super Cereal "The future of warfare!" "End is nigh!" "Fear the haxors!" Black Op2 stuff before the big reveal and then 12 year old kids and "adults" calling you a faggot online.

Holy shit! How is Woods still alive?! Thats awesome... Calling it now, BLOPS Deux is going to be the best CoD campaign ever. If MP keeps the Strike Packages from MW3 this'll be just the best thing.

Not saying that. It just doesn't make sense to have "black ops" with giant mechs canons and michael bay jackoff material explosions. There is nothing clandestine about what I have seen so far.

I have ultra low expectations for Blops2, but this still interests me some to see how the multiplayer pans out. If they scrap the whole slow pace BLOPS multi for a faster MW2 type multiplayer I'll be getting it but if its like blops was I'm passing on it.
