By "beat up" I mean I slammed one into the wall and punched the other guy in the chest and they ran off.

Yes, we had a furry clique. They wore ears. On Halloween they wore partial fur suits. I'd met them and talked to them, they were all very nice, smart and otherwise normal people, one became quite popular. They just happened to think furry characters were way cool and a few of them had fursonas.

Me and my brother once traded tons of tickets for sticky ninja stars and took over the playpen at chuck e cheese when no one was there. We proudly proclaimed it the new ninja turtles lair and had to defend it from incoming foot soldiers.
I don't think my school had any real bullies...or at least, the troublemakers seemed to just fuck with other troublemakers.
1/3rd of my graduating class either dropped out or were forced into alternative schools by senior year. For some reason, my home town is like the meth capital of the country, so there were just a lot of kids who had the misfortune of having awful parents and thus, a lot of anger to take out on one another.
And I know there are some parents on here, so what would you guys do if you found out your kid was bullying people in the extreme ways we hear about it on the news?

My sister, high school freshman, has now informed me that her highschool has a clique of bronies now. They are not bullied or anything. They just are. Mostly boys, apparently they wear MLP backpacks.
Oh man, this reminds me of how in high school some of my "friends" would steal my tater tots at lunch for a while. So then I started just licking all my tater tots and I told them after they ate them.
i wonder how long bronies will stick around as a major thing
i cant think of any other major clique, even on the internet, thats tied almost exclusively to a single show
maybe theyll go when the show is cancelled but itll be interesting to see if they can keep the steam rolling and, if so, what thatll look like in several years
even harry potter fandom is beginning to wind down, though

Ugh, fuck bullies. Pretty much all my personality problems can be traced back to the peer abuse I suffered throughout my time in primary school, both physical and emotional. The worst part is that I remember it all--every single thing. All the stuff they stole, all the things they called me, all the places they hit me and the scars they left. I remember their faces. I remember their names. I remember fucking everything. And you know what the shittiest part of it all is? I still get torn up inside thinking about it. I won't even ask my sister how her son is doing in school because I don't want to hear about any incidents of bullying that come up, be he the receiver or the dealer. I can't even watch films or TV shows that in any way depict bullying in a realistic manner; I start shaking uncontrollably, get angry as fuck, have to fight like goddamn sonofabitch to keep from flying into a rage-blinded fury and just start breaking stuff.
But I take comfort in knowing they can't hurt me anymore. They can't call me weak, because I'm stronger than them. They can't call me stupid, because I'm smarter than them. They can't even call me short, because I outgrew them all. And best of all, they can't ever fuck with me again, because I don't stand for that shit anymore. I'm nobody's doormat, and I'm especially nobody's bitch. It's a good feeling when you know you'll never have to kowtow to the fuckheads who made your growing up years a living Hell. Doubly good when you see what most of them have amounted to and you can fucking laugh at them for it. Karma's a right bitch.

I'd say that abusive shitheel NCOs in the army messed my head up way more than pricks in school because at least in school I could go home or fight back without risking losing my paycheck or going to jail.

Yeah, one of my supervisors at my last job was absolute human shit. Mean to everyone he talked to, except the client reps. Abused his powers (slept on the job, showed up late and told us he'd get us fired if we reported him--shit like that), tried to withhold payment as punishment for not "toeing the line"--real fucking low. I had to organize everyone who worked with me and underneath him, take our case to the company's owner/top boss and tell him that we were all prepared to quit if he wasn't reined in/fired. Luckily our Boss boss was of a better make than the man he'd hired to oversee us and went ahead and gave the guy his walking papers. Made the job easier for everyone, and harder for me to quit when the time came; I liked having responsive top management.
cant really remember much about being bullied not bothered about it either, i destroyed all my enemies years ago

I actually ran into one of the guys who used to bully me in middle school/high school the other day at the grocery store. He was a check-out boy. But even better, he was so short. Like 5'6", tops. And he was balding ferociously. As in, this guy had taken a dive off the Receding Hairline Tree and hit every branch on the way down. Just this pathetic little tuft of thin black hair combed poorly to the side of his worryingly pink scalp.
He'd gotten fat, too. Like, pathetic fat. The kind of fat you get when you hit the bottle so hard it eventually gets tired of the incessant physical abuse and hits back. Judging by his complexion and the way he'd cut extra holes into his belt, I'd say the bottle had started to win the fight.
Meanwhile I'm towering over him with my head full of luscious, golden-blonde hair and fit physique, doing my best /Bidengrin, secretly hoping he'll recognize me, see the man I've become compared to the man he'll never be. It was awesome.

If the Harry Potter fandom is just now winding down, that's still 15 solid years of enthusiastic slashfics.

Man, reading all your bullying stories is heartbreaking. I was lucky in that I was never bullied at school. A large part of that came from playing a lot of sport, so I was buddy-buddy with most of the guys doing the bullying.
It shouldn't be understated how much impact a bit of humanity directed towards someone can have.

one managed to get himself murdered by the other one,
who was then sent to jail for first-degree murder
of course by the time this had happened I had long since moved out of my hometown and had stopped thinking about them
so really the news of it was just kinda sad
