Well, I figure that if I somehow can't get in contact with him in the next two weeks, and somehow don't find him at PAX I'll just pass out drunk in a hotel hallway... I wont be the only one I'm sure.
Also, for those staying with Nap he's very close to downtown. I don't remember his address but he's up on Capitol Hill and is about a 10 min cab ride from the convention center. Without luggage, it's pretty walkable. About 1.5-2 miles uphill.
According to Google, it is 16 miles.
You probably got some coordinate wrong. There are a lot of streets in Seattle with similar names but that are differentiated by St. or Ave. and are not that close to each other. Also with compass points, so 98th NE would be very different from 98th S. or just 98th St. I know where he lives and it's like a 20 minute walk from the convention center.

Yeah, they were so unoriginal in naming the city that they just said, "well, it's between Seattle and Tacoma...."
edit: though to be fair, I think the airport existed before the city was actually incorporated so I think the city was actually named after the airport
