It's like some Animorph role play?
What is the objective, and why does it ignore a great deal of the continuity? I mean, if you remember the term shorm, which I myself had forgotten (Andalite term for best friend, right?), then the creator obviously has an intimate knowledge of the series.

well it's pretty much cherry picking what fits and what doesn't.
it's not exactly continuity here. if tobias is unable to morph but we still have the ellemist in the game because it fits the game better, then that's fine.

Go wiki "Mafia game."
Same thing, with an Animorphs theme. All the stuff from the series is for flavor, to make it more appealing. You can play this with no knowledge of the series, but you'll enjoy the narrations more if you're a fan.

As Wiggin said, this is a Mafia game (or as it's more commonly know around here, Phalla)
The theme varies from game to game, but the premise remains virtually the same. It's a game of an uninformed majority versus an informed minority. The purpose is for the good (or neutral) players to root out the "bad guys" either through voting or "vigilante kills."
As for the storyline elements mentioned earlier, there are a few that are being brought into play.

Oh, so it's like the Mafia card game! Am I to assume that the Animorphs and such are assigned randomly (so, the first six spots are not necessarily the heroes)?

In that case I'll take !spot #10, I guess.
That is correct; every role in the game has already been assigned via random number generator. Role PMs are sent out shortly after the game officialy starts, which will either be Thursday/Friday, or Monday (depending on when the players vote to begin)

No, it should be listed in the rules on the mafia wiki page.
Edit: found it
"Win condition
The game ends either when the last Mafia member is killed (Innocent victory) or the Mafia members gain a majority during the day (Mafia victory). Ties go to the Mafia. The innocents have no way of voting off mafia members at this point, but the mafia can still kill each night. Other variants have different victory conditions. A very common one is that player 10 is required to protect player 4. There can be other such variations as well."
As far as I know, every SE++ phalla has used this rule, so it's likely Green/Wiggin will as well.

(Also, OP list updated)
Basically, the uniformed majority gets to wear clothes while the informed minority knows everything but is naked.
I've got it all written down.

also !Clarification What is considered on topic (read the first couple of books when working at Walden books like 10 years ago)
So what you're saying is you cut the hair on your balls?
Clarification: You don't need to talk about the books to be on-topic
Posts such as "First post of the day" "Second post of the day" are acceptable, but don't overdo it
but no a real haircut
on my hear
lots of hairs cut
I assume you meant "head".
I am gonna be needing a haircut soon, actually. It's getting real shaggy on the sides.
I have a cousin who joined the army for the free hair cuts...I shit you not!
I didn't think so
I bet you look ridiculous
