So let's say the new Xbox is the no-used-games mandatory kinect thing that's been rumored. What are they putting together now as a presentation?

Sony just made a huge deal about being an open platform and Xbox Live is hardly that.

The weirdest thing about Watch_Dogs is how much of it takes place on streets I'm very familiar with. It's just past the uncanny valley.

Well I liked the Destiny stuff

I guess I'm not expecting gameplay yet like everyone else?

Its still quite a long time till that launches

Microsoft must be bummed out about losing exclusive Destiny content AND having it be associated with PS3/4 just a matter of days after the Vidoc was released.

Nah, this wasn't a waste of time.

    I'm glad I watched it.

It was a good announcement and aside from a few missteps (blizzard. square-enix) it was solid.

It does sound like this was overall underwhelming

But new Infamous excites me, as does exclusive Destiny content

I somehow feel MS's reveal will be even more disappointing

Thread went too fast for me to keep up

Infamous 3 looks great although it was just a CG trailer, Killzone 4 looks good if generic, Watch_Dogs looks fantastic, Diablo 3 lol who cares, Square going "here's our demo from last year also there gon' be a Final Fantasy alright peace" was beyond lame

THIS HAS BEEN SIMBEN'S EDITORIAL CORNER, PEACE

I really hope they do the subscription + reduced cost SKU.

Because that's probably the only way I'd buy a new console until way later.

And Destiny doesn't need to show ANYTHING, it's a Bungie shooter, if you liked Halo 1-3 you're probably gonna enjoy Destiny.

    Get a burger.

You can thank me later when Watch_Dogs reminds you of delicious things.

The Square-Enix thing was mind-blowing. It's like they got up in front of the class and had to admit they hadn't finish their homework.

The reflections on this killzone demo are fucking great, although I agree about having no interest in the actual gameplay.

I feel like the lackluster of blizzard and square-enix comes from how this is a Sony conference, standalone, a ways away from E3. New, incredible stuff just isn't going to be announced until E3 as far as 3rd parties go. Blizzcon for Blizzard.

Even if it is, I'm cool with keeping my 360 around for another year or two. Worst case, I skip this gen or just get a Wii U. If what we saw today is the best we'll get of the next gen, I'll stick with the last gen as long as I can.

It's actually the purple line. There's a sidequest to shoplift things from art stores.
