I heard some instance where people paid thousands of dollars to eat thawed but rotten mammoth.
That would be weird to eat.
there used to be mummy parties where rich people with more money than sense would eat a desiccated mummy exhumed from Egypt and shipped off to England.
look at that crust. it looks like a doughy ritz cracker.
how dare you use that in comparison with the two gorgeous instances of brooklyn pizza i posted
That pizza is delicious.
NYC snob :P
The crust does look terrible
That was the one thing that always sucked in boulder
Could never find a decent slice to save your life
Abo's on the hill was decidedly okay, and that was the least worst
It's the whole baking at high altitudes thing
Actually it has to do with the altitude. Being over a mile up screws with baking and rising crust. So that is why crust isn't ever the way it is out East.

I fully accept bake goods in high altitude are worse than low humid climates. But you can get some good stuff but usually it is different than out East.
Also sourdough works much better than normal dough at altitude.
