Who's also the dude in the suit with wings, I guess.

Man, One More Day is a bad place to start reading, I think, but War Journal is good, the little bit I've read.

I thought Civil War was pretty cool, so I kept up with most of what was going on. War Journal is done by Olivetti, who has a pretty awesome style not dissimilar from what I've tried in the past (and what I'm doing again)
Also, it's Punisher fighting a dressed up super neonazi with a hate machine

Then I was talking to Leanna about the Iron Man movie and she asked how it was different from Batman with a robot suit.

I didn't have a really good answer, because her knowledge of Batman is limited to the movies, and my knowledge of Iron Man is lacking at best.

Like I said, the few times I've gotten War Journal, it was good, but not something I would get on a monthly basis.
OMD, though? Jesus Christ, I'll admit that I enjoyed all of Back in Black, but this is just a new level of "poor Peter."

Only the first one of OMD is out, right?

And that was the only good part. Also, yeah, part 2 isn't out yet, and I guarantee I won't buy it, I'll just read the end in my shop when it comes out. Same with part 3.

Punisher War Journal is like a Twinkie.

Delicious and fun, but not very filing. And sometimes you feel a little dirty afterwards.

But you always come back for more.

After I get my paycheck next Friday, I'll have a lot of extra money because it's so big.
I fully plan on picking up another Sin City trade. The only question is, The Hard Goodbye, or The Big Kill?

Basically, Batman is more of a street level hero, who fights in one city. Iron Man is basically a mobile weapons platform who fights globally.

Also, Iron Man is considerably less dark than Batman.

I am not the sort of person who thinks good graphics equates to a good game.

But those graphics just look lazy.

Like they don't even want to spend time on making it look good.

So the gameplay will suck too.

    Probably.

Am I wrong to think that this is some bullshit when a guy reads through a whole book and doesn't even pay for it? I wouldn't have the rocks to do something like that, but then again I like the guys at the store I buy from.

Also One More Day has not pissed me off yet. In fact, this issue gave me some hope that it might turn out pretty well.

Edit: Forgot to say that I got on the Outsiders bandwagon yesterday, and it is in fact quite awesome.

I don't read whole books without paying. When I say "Read the end," I mean, I'm going to pick it up, turn to the back, and read the ending.

For the six seconds I'm holding the damn thing, I don't care. I'm not standing there, reading every page.
I turn to the last page, so I can go "Oh shit the Vulture is back." Then I put it back and go get my subscriptions.

Just go look up spoilers instead of putting your greasy paws all over something and putting it back for someone else to buy.

You know....I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as it's only in your hands for a minute or so.

You should be allowed to assess the quality of something before you buy it.

Yeah, he's mostly doing it for the purpose of getting information...

...but I imagine if it turned out to be a really quality mag, he'd buy it.

It's a different story when you see someone SITTING DOWN IN THE ISLE or standing around for a half hour just reading something off the shelf.
