For an idea of how much I hate Uncle Grandpa, it resides in the same quadrant in my mind reserved for people who like American Dad. They tell you its pretty funny, man
those things go with whoever they're supposed to entertain. It's sorta why I'm creeped out by mlp and they who shall not be mentioned, but it seems like lil girls still get that stuff. and hell (the caveat is that they'd better be a kid) if a lil boy gets the dumb horse toy too that's fine
that said, who wanted this? who is hungry for more uncle grandpa
I'd take more Uncle Grandpa over Johnny Test any day. I was shocked to see that they made more episodes of that thing. Uncle Grandpa feels like he should be an occasional character on MAD though rather than an actual show by himself.
We finally caught up on Steven Universe over the weekend and I have gotten to like it. Admittedly it didn't immediately click with me like Adventure Time or Regular Show, but after giving it a few episodes (and repeated viewings of those thanks to the kid) I like it.

My neices love MLP. They could say pony before they could speak whole sentences.
Uncle Grandpa is a 90s ugly cartoon. The art is grimy and the humor is absurdist.
Animation has moved past that now though so it cones off as more of a relic Cartoon Network thought might appeal to the hot topic t-shirt crowd
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
To be fair MLP is a pretty great cartoon. Despite what you think of the subculture it's at least well animated, well written and is something you can watch with your kids that isn't torture. The only problem I have with it is that I'm painfully spoiled and DirecTV only has the Hub in standard def and that bugs the crap out of me.

I don't get a lot of the hate for Johnny Test. Like, I don't enjoy it, but my son went through a Johnny Test phase and it didn't strike me as any worse than most of the other vanilla dreck that airs on CN and Nick.
Annoying Orange and Uncle Grandpa, though... those are just... unnnggghhh, you know? Just... uunnnnngggghhhhh.
Steven Universe is great, though. The thing that confuses me is that the rest of my family loves Adventure Time and Regular Show, and don't get SU. And they seem like they'd have very similar appeal.
Although I have managed to turn "If every porkchop was perfect..." into a popular household call-and-response, so there's something.
I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.
the thing that offends me about johnny test is how lazily they just sloughed off and copied dexter's laboratory but just slightly changed the premise and which family members the plot follows

Johnny Test is, as Naphtali mentioned, pretty widely regarded as a pretty huge rip off of Dexter's Laboratory, which is better in literally every possible way.
Edit: Which is why I'm angry about it, but probably has something to do with the reason why I find it more watchable than the random-for-the-sake-of-random bull mess that is Uncle Grandpa.
One thing I like about this show is the blurring of gender boundaries: it's about a boy who is a part of a girly sparkly flowery superhero team and none of the characters have a problem with this or even comment on it.
Yeah, Pearl is the only one who even has any traditionally female characteristics, I think, outside of attire. Amethyst and Garnet could practically be recast as dudes and nothing would have to change.
I guess maybe the theme song is kind of sparkly and flowery.
(I love the theme song.)
"...and STEVEN."

And I guess I get the ire against Johnny Test. Never bugged me, though.

I don't know if any of the women on that team qualify as "sparkly flowery".
Yeah but like the team gets their powers from pink and purple gems, their canon is in the shape of a pink flower, everyone on the team is a girl except Steven, etc.

that episode was very entertaining to me, the big wrestling fan
Really it was eight minutes of spot on parody right down to Steven pulling a Lesnar
wait explain the brock lesnar joke to me because I only recognize his name from his brief stint in mma
Well in his final wrestling appearance Lesnar flipped the double bird to fans at Wrestlemania and quit. He basically told fans to go to hell which as noted in the episode is kind of a no no.

I find Uncle Grandpa's character design amazingly offensive.

What really drew me to notice it was the musical numbers they threw in.
Say what you will, the creators really went the extra mile with that show, and it's paid off in dividends at this point.
I mean, pretty much every complaint about it is regarding the fans, not the show, so

As an adult I see how lonely his life really is and it just guts me. Then they play his song and I just die laughing
something like this deserves to keep going for a few seasons vs... uncle grandpa
Theyre storyboarding for episodes in the sixties iirc. We're good
Or Annoying Orange
Or Total Drama
How could anyone even like that hideous, unfunny piece of garbage. It's like a Newgrounds cartoon stretched out to fill air time.

This is kinda a good way to describe it.
It seems like a show that'd be on right after the Ripping Friends or something.

I'm sorry, but Total Drama Whatever is far, far more watchable than Uncle Grandpa.
Fucking Johnny Test is more watchable than Uncle Grandpa, and I'm ANGRIER about Johnny Test than I am Uncle Grandpa.

That's true, I suppose.
I also love the hell out of Tiger Millionaire. Just watched the episode tonight.
