I need to mail back my Warby Parker box once I'm off bed rest. Didn't like any of the five I picked, but there's still a few I want to try eventually. Wound up picking out a pair at the optometrist and may have been slightly influenced by the brand name being Gotham Style.

denver, where I have actually lived before, but it was for grad school and I did not have a car so I existed in kind of a university bubble most of the time.

I got my tongue pierced yesterday, I miss solid food. Despite saying I wouldn't go clothes shopping this month somehow I have a lot of new underwear and a couple of tops. Which will be too big soon if I don't relearn to eat. I want roast dinner tomorrow!
I replaced the bra I lost in Hamburg! been keeping an eye out for that brand to go on sale, and they dropped off to half price this weekend so I got two for less than 10 quid. Amazing.
So like, a lot of people gave the Arcade Fire grief for having their concert be Formal Attire/Costumes Required
but I went to the show in town last night, and I actually wish more bands would do the same! There were people in tuxedos right next to people in robot costumes! Fancy dresses and skeletons! One guy had a ballin' Ringleader outfit that kind of fit both Formal and Costume categories. It was actually a ton more fun than your typical concert because of how dressed to the nines everyone was!
Part of me just loves the excuse to dress up though. Sigh.

One of the bands I have seen play a lot is a weird little number called The World/Inferno Friendship Society
They're cabaret punk, and they do a lot of bullshit centered around that, so whenever you go to a concert (which will, invariably, be in a shitty punk rock basement venue) there will be a mix of people in their hardcore punk leather jackets and chains and people in three piece suits
They'll typically throw a waltz into their setlist for the people who took the occasion to dress up, or at very least a hole will form in the middle of the mosh pit for people to do so protected from crowd surfers

Cheers. I'm thinking it might have to be a thing I play with for a while.
