I would like everyone to learn that you are supposed to merge like a zipper, one car then another car, in heavy traffic. The optimal strategy isn't to ride the ass of the car in front of you so the merging traffic can't squeeze in because FUCK THAT CLOWN GOTTA GET TO WORK FASTER CANT LET ANYONE GET IN FRONT OF ME.
Oh God. The optimal strategy for merging around here seems to be:
Already on freeway? OH GOD AN ON RAMP MOVE LEFT MOVE LEFT MOVE LEFT!
On the on ramp: OH MY GOD SCARY FREEWAY! SLOW IS SAFER DO NOT EXCEED 30 MPH!
If self-driving cars were required to have a human ready to take over at a moment's notice, wouldn't that defeat the purpose? I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I'd be terrible at that. I can concentrate as required when I'm driving, because I'm engaged in the process. But if I were expected to maintain constant vigilance, but not actually do anything most of the time, I'd last a few minutes, tops, before zoning out completely. Even for something as simple as helping watch for deer from the passenger seat, I catch my mind wandering off task frequently. Seeing as how I don't have ADD, I don't think most people are wired for careful attention without something concrete to focus on.

It's a little harsh but I like the message.
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
I see a billboard with a still from that add and the tagline on my way to work.
Never seen the add that goes with it.
It’s not a very important country most of the time
