And Mask: It's more that he's bitching about how he wants to read it, but has a policy not to.
We're not gonna fucking arrest you because you picked up Allstar Batman and Robin and you have a policy not to.
Why the fuck would anyone mention Countdown in anything but a tangential context in the moments of the week thread?
I've said it before. As long as Frank Miller only writes HIS OWN characters, I'm fine with him.
The second he writes someone else, he's worthless.
"i want to read that but i have a policy that says "DON'T READ THINGS YOU WANT"
I gotta agree with Keith. If I ever see someone in a Moment of the Week thread tell me how awesome a comic I don't read was that week, I tend to pick it up, regardless of who is in it, etc.
Unless it's Countdown.

Because one of my Moments O' the Week was Jokester and his kwazy Mallet of Justice (my name).
That and Batman #669.
What a great arc. Morrison and JH Williams are such a perfect pair.

To be fair, it's generally true that you can't say anything around here that amounts to "I don't really like to read DC" without someone getting on your case about it. I mean, Lol!'s situation is more or less true for me (because I'm far more invested in Marvel than DC), but I don't remind people of it. At any rate, Lol! shouldn't make a point of reminding us of his bias against DC and Keith shouldn't have a knee-jerk reaction to everyone who says they don't like/are biased against DC. At least not in a thread about moments of the week.
I don't give a fuck if you don't want to read DC

Also, I've realized that as much as I hated Civil War, I REALLY like the comics that have come out of it, like The Initiative and The Order and even Mighty Avengers.
Back to moments of the week, Avengers: The Initiative was all sorts of awesome, everyone needs to read this book. I don't know how Slott can make make every D-List character in the Marvel U cool, but he does. I actually felt bad for Gauntlet, he seemed like a giant douchebag up until this point, now I get where he's coming from. The Slapstick thing was a total shocker, I could go on and on.
I mean there's like a dozen plot threads going on involving tons of characters, yet Slott manages to advance them all, gives everyone their moment to shine and thats all in 22 pages.
The Order was pretty sweet too, can't go wrong with robot zombie hobo's.

I don't get why Captain Atom became Monarch
He has none of the characteristics of Captain Atom
He has none of the characteristics of Captain Atom
they pretty much just got rid of CA
Maybe that isn't him in there. Maybe it's like Mister Mind or some shit. Not that I've been reading the books he's in. I just wouldn't put it past Morrison. He likes his his butterfly insect demons.

I'll bold your face.
I had Teen Titans on my Pull list and they didn't give it to me and I just realized this now.
Gonna have to pick it up next week after I get paid.
Or, Conversely: Keith give me your Teen Titans.
Also, goddamnit wiggin what the hell?
this is a pretty dumb thing to say, Wiggin.
JordynNolz.com <- All my blogs (Shepard, Wasted, J'onn, DCAU) are here now!
but it stars a mainstream character!
This is also dumb.
Because it shows that you don't even know what to consider "mainstream DC."

robin's an interesting character
I was confused because I thought this was Booster at first
He's the other one from Extreme Justice. I'm operating under this assumption so I can have less things to annoy me.
