Very sweet comic. Sometimes I feel a little worried that Malachi will end up being bound to a simple character and inhibited from growing. I think that would be a shame. I see this comic as being so much more than a series of arcs; I hope to see growth and development. Sometimes I wonder if I am simply inflicting my own wants on the comic, but then I see strips like this one and I see that this comic is just as interested in the growth of its characters as I am. Great job, Katie. Keep up the good work.
1. totally unexpected saccharine ending, hurray for Malachi - loved it.
2. didn't spot the kitteh during the initial read-through; thought you were being devilishly clever by having the 'hidden' kitteh be in the in-comic drawing, but then noticed the dash to the left of the ears; realized that it might be how Malachi signed his art and resolved to do a better job searching for the kitteh elsewhere - which worked, but left a mirage of disappointment for it not being the clever trick.
3. Malachi's a decent artist; he could could start a strip for the camp newsletter -- 'drawin'ception'
4. and it does look like they're in straitjackets...
and finally: 5. congrats to Adam for getting his name on the strip
Aww that's so sweet , was just waitin for the dark bait and switch, or Malachi to do something horrid... But nope, he's actually been nice for once! great comic, hit me right in the feels.
I was afraid there was going to be an overly attached girlfriend reference. It was nice to have a positive ending. I thought it was gangsta poses.
Kitty so tiny!!

Also I've really taken a liking to Malachi's new hair.
(And tiny, tiny kitty.)

BTW Wallander is a great svenska TV series
Although I think it would be funny if their pillows were stuffed with cats.
Also... WOW that's a tiny freakin kittie :P,
EDIT: And I just noticed the straightjackets. I knew everything couldn't be 100% perfect.
Kitty so tiny!!
BTW, They're so cute together.
