Some of the lore in this game is genuinely disturbing stuff.
Particularly the entries about the reanimated corpses who have an inclination to bury themselves in the dirt and just lie there, or the cloned brains that unless kept constantly doped on drugs, will immediately commit suicide if they become too aware of their situation.
It includes the following updates:
-Added HD Mode. Check the options menu.
You will be able to choose between 1x, 2x and 3x the default resolution.
-You can now zoom the map using mouse wheel.
-Fixed missing module names in level4b
-Upgraded to SDL2. This should fix most of the weirdness with the game window.
-You no longer have to restart the game to switch between fullscreen and windowed mode.
-Levels are now more randomized (inspired by one of the Xangi's mods)
-Fixed a minor bug that allowed you to reload when you had no ammo.
For players who haven't dared to try the game yet, we will also release a demo version on Steam shortly.
I've jumped back in after taking a break from it for a while.
Similar to my experiences in Spelunky, I'm finding that however tempting it may be to bypass the early levels, its usually better to start from the beginning. If you play your cards right, you'll end up with a much better arsenal than what the game gives you if you start fresh from the higher levels.
I picked this up finally with the indie gala bundle, I've only played a little bit of it though, so far I am really bad at it, but I assume this will get easier the more I play

I don't think the game ever gets easy so to say. If you play it you will get better. There is a lot of pain involved with this process.

Oh shit that's the kind of thing that's going to drag me back in.
They appear to be giving away a copy of the Die More Edition of Teleglitch on Humble Bundle for Halloween, in case anyone is interested and hasn't picked it up yet.
I missed the patch announcement made in May, that's reason enough for me to get back in. It's pleasing to hear they apparently made level 4 easier, I never got past it

Fight loads of monsters without worrying too much about running out of bullets and dying. Great for practice.
