PAX AUS Anniversary Misprint

My little brother bought a PAX AUS 10 Year Anniversary pin but it seems to have a been a misprint. As you can see in the image below it says Prime instead of Aus, but it has the Aus colors.
Has anyone come across one like this? is it common that there will be a few misprint per pin production run?

Mercifully, Pedro, I'm in the same boat.
Always looking to trade.
But I do love seeing these misprints, this one especially I think is really cool because it's not a "damaged" pin for lack of a better word. It's 99% perfect bar except the location, on a quick glance, you wouldn't even notice.

They are likely to have them next year. As to why they didn't have them this year, they simply didn't make them then. It's like asking why no Pins at PAX 2008. They weren't in existence. But I suspect they will be available for at least a couple of years, same as the Core and Twisp/Catsby lanyards.

Rare stamp, goes for thousands. There are a few with misprints that go way higher. I believe the other examples include one where the biplane was printed upside down.

As for the Kemper lanyard. Super cute but it sucks for pin trading because the pictures on it contrast with the background and you can't easily glance at someone's pins as you pass. Just get an eyeful of kitties.

So, wait... we have two rumours going on now: auction the remaining misprints for Child's Play or destroy them instead. I feel like this is a decision in a Bioware game.
And if they destroy the ones they've got, wouldn't that just make this Penny Black (dare I say, *Pinny* Black) scenario more likely as the pins out there in the wild would become even more rare?

It has nothing to do with pins, and it's "Penny Black" as Pedro said originally.
With the word "stamp" and "penny" it's easy to confuse it with the stamp on the back of a pin" and of course "pinny."
