Someone called out hillary clinton for not tipping at chipotle. People tip at chipotle?
They don't even bus the tables like a lot of fast casual places. I leave a small tip anywhere that they bring the food to you and clean the table after. Never at chipotle.
I do this at places where there is service even if I myself am just grabbing something to go
but at a place where there isn't service?
I tip more often at Sonic than Chipotle come on
and Sonic doesn't even have a cc tip option

I think I might just have a thing for unusual blends of genres. I like Star Wars, partially because it's space and spaceships and lasers, but also has vaguely Eastern mysticism and such. I like Star Fox because same thing, but also shittons of animals. I like things like the Secret World, Shadowrun, and Mage stuff because they're all modern (or dystopian future with only slightly advanced tech) things with guns and etc, but also randomly magic and elves. I also really like TV like Buffy, which is modern day stuff plus demons, and things like X-Files and Supernatural, which... kinda the same deal.
I'm not sure if I am categorizing things too broadly or have just found a weird key to things I enjoy.
Yes, genre mix-matching--like chocolate and peanut butter--can be awesome.
Speaking of which, still considering finally running a Buffy "Grizzly Peaks" game. Basically BtVS meets Twin Peaks with nods toward vidyas like Gone Home and Life is Strange.
@MrAnthropy You've mentioned it to me, like, twice, so now you owe it to me to run it.
Star Wars first
I want to tinker with you :winky:

Well, it did prevent a generation of British teens from attempting hand break turns.
Their enduring popularity was down to them technically being defined as motorcycles
So you didn't need to pass a driving test and they were cheaper to tax than a car
So it was desperation. In the long run, I'd met more teens got hurt driving those crummy things than had you given them real licenses for real cars.
No idea.
They were popular at a time when working class people would frequently have a motorbike licence but not a car licence, and we aren't talking teens here. They were popular in mining areas, primarily.
They kind of died out aside from enthusiast interest once it became more difficult to get a bike licence.
