I have a grim urge to finish any game I start, at least to the barest sense of "complete". The main reason I didn't buy Watch_Hogs in the sale was because I know how much time I waste in open world games
not finishing games has saved me money
Like I wanna do some Witcher 3 style witching
but it's been aaaages since I finished the first one so I feel the need to do another play through so I started up a new Witcher 1 game and made it into the city before losing interest
On top of that I've never even played the second despite picking it up on Steam for like $5
so by the time I get around to being ready to do witchering in the third one it'll be like $10 on Steam
that's real savings right there i tell u whut

When Blockbuster was going out of business near me like... 8 years ago they had a "rent 1 movie, get 9 other movie rentals for free"
When blockbuster started up here they tried to break in to the market with a rent two get one free deal. This of course was still under the Blockbuster standard late fee policy of return it in two days or we repo your house
Thing is there was already a well established semi-local chain that had been doing a 5/5/5 deal for years already (5 rentals for 5 days for $5) and the late fee policy was $1/additional day you kept them

This year I started but did not finish PoE, BG1:EE, Binding of Isaac, Transistor, and Bloodbourne. I will finish all those games though (well, I won't finish Bloodbourne, but will play plenty of it).

I have sunk 20 hours into Ground Zeroes, rescuing all POWs, S-ranking the missions, tooling around, etc
I do not get the thinking some people have that the "main" mission defines the entire scope of the game
what
it's like a 2 hours game. i don't understand.
I just outlined how I've spent that time in there! A bunch of that stuff is going to roll over to Phantom Pain, so there is reason to complete it the way I've been doing
Again, it is a "two hour game" if you judge it solely on the first mission and don't do the rest, which are really fun on their own merit. It is you who I do not understand, DUEbert!

Having plans you weren't that into turn out to have been a fantastic idea.

I guess Geth is a real sucker for pedantry regarding maritime geography.

Blockbuster did not do well here
Excellent point.
The only single player campaign game I've actually finished this year was Plants vs. Zombies.

Third time I clicked a video in chat. So worth it. At least, once I muted it. I loved when the troublesome trucks rained down from the sky.

I beat Contra without the code.
I earned this.

That kind of humor isn't my thing. I know that people online tend to like it and I'm an outlier, but I really don't care for that style.
Video is a treasure though. The attention to detail on those trains is so great. Could tell who everyone was immeadiately.
omg this is amaze
