On April 13, 2015, author Peter Gallagher filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in California federal court against the makers of the film. Gallagher claims that due to the similarities between the film and his 2006 novel The Little White Trip: A Night In the Pines, Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard had used his work without permission. The lawsuit demands $10 million in damages. Whedon and Goddard were named as defendants, along with the production company Mutant Enemy Productions and distributor Lionsgate.
Has anyone heard of this book?
I believe one of his points was that he was selling his book on the street near where Mutant Enemy has their offices and therefore Joss Whedon would totally know of his book.
Edit: Close enough.
Also note when the lawsuit was filed. Little close to a certain movie's release, don't ya think? He was hoping it would have generated enough negative publicity that the studio would go for a quickie settlement instead of risking opening weekend numbers.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

I felt weird about the reaction I saw trainwreck getting
people wrote about being upset that what 'fixed' her was she stopped sleeping around and that that was shaming of some kind
but like
shes a shitty person
its not like she's an awesome person who just happens to also be very sexually open
I dunno, just weird
really liked it though
Yeah I am with you
Slut shaming is bad and obviously people can live life how they want but she was a pretty terrible person and totally deserved getting called out on her bullshit
Saw Trainwreck on Sunday, after bottomless mimosas with some gal pals and arguably-too-many weed-chocolate-coated espresso beans.
It was a very funny movie!
I shed some tears whenever Amy and her sister were on the outs, but never gave even a single fuck over the relationship drama (Finally, a comedy willing to correlate female promiscuity and shitty fathers! What a fresh take! And a nice man can fix the damage a bad man did? So bold!). There was more than enough good to get me past the stuff that bugged me, though.
Really, really loved Mike Birbiglia as a low-key, subtle asshole. So interesting to see him tweak his persona like that. And Vanessa Beyer should get some sort of award for using "all-teeth smile" in like forty different, subtly-shaded ways. She's a treasure.

I was literally thinking just earlier today about buying They Live on Blu-ray because I'd never seen it but had seen clips on OSW Review
This sucks so much
Because I really didn't like it that much.
Satans..... hints.....
It is titled Troll: The Rise of Harry Potter, Jr.
After the first films protagonists, Harry Potter, Jr.
The soundtrack is perfect for setting such a great 80s thriller/horror kind of vibe.

It's not THAT kind of a Ghost Protocol, sorry
Yeah but Simon Pegg is in it so that counterbalances it.
Fuck now I want a British Ghostbusters movie with Simon Pegg and Nick frost.

You'd think this was a good idea but I did it and am now just a ghost, forever cursed to this place

Not sure what this has to do with a 10 year anniversary badge though
I'm an expert. I can verify this as true.

It's not really that different. I'm posting from my eternal cursed aquatic half-life in Davy Jone's locker right now.
Just make sure you get a waterproof phone and a decent internet connection. WiFi reception down here is shit.

Clearly, Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie.
Also I did not have any sort of fondness for her dad who was just a garbage pile of a person
John Cena and LeBron James were both absolutely fantastic and stole the show

Thats the thing, she doesn't just stop sleeping around and that fixes her shitty personality
she actively works on being an overall better person and also stops sleeping around
people are acting like the stop sleeping around thing magically fixes everything, and thats not the case

Bill Hader had issues with that which is kinda shitty on his part
The only time it felt valid was
I haven't yet gotten to the latest OitNB - he's in it as a dick? That is most intriguing!
His character is the kind of dude who's in way over his head, so he acts like a dick to make himself feel strong
He's at least a little sympathetic, but he has moments to be super awful
