Scoring - In the first round, if the team you pick wins you get the number of points equal to the team's seeding (I decided to change it to actual seeding because of the disadvantage of the wild card game), i.e. if you pick the Red Sox to win and they do you'll get 1 point, if you pick the Pirates and they win you get 4 points. Additionally, pick the amount of games you think the series will go, and if it goes that amount, you get an additional point. In the League Championship Series, these points will double, and in the World Series they will triple. Seed point amounts will not change throughout the playoffs. Therefore, the following base point amounts will remain the same regardless of round.
For example, say you pick the Mets, Cubs, Royals and Rangers to win in the first round. You would then receive 4+2+1+3=10 points if they all win. If the Giants lost and your other picks won, you would get 6 points. Then you would receive an additional point per series if you picked the winner of that series and correctly predicted the number of games the series took to complete. Next round points double, then triple in the last round.
Division series picks need to be in by 3:30 PM Eastern today, Thursday the 7th.
The WINNER will receive, by email, a $25 gift card to the mlb.com store or other online buying center of your choice!
Second prize will be $10, same deal.

Me: Well, if Rizzo did it you'd be cheering he got on base.
Wife: Well, yeah.
Still hasn't resumed, Sean Rodriguez thrown out after the scuffle.
Edit: wait, maybe he wasn't thrown out and they were just talking about how he got subbed out earlier.
