To get us started here is a pin I modded. Tippy has dubbed it Toucan Sam.

This was a Tourist Gabe (East core set 2015).

I think that most people that get this done do it for personal reasons and don't ever intend to trade them.

Someone could easily pin mod and have people want said pin. I'm already interested in attempting it and looking to trade them at East for potentially other mods (if I see any). Obviously I would let anyone trading know that I inked up the pins.

Considering attempting to do some modding myself, what kind of ink/tools would I need for it? I'm thinking some sort of fine tip pen or nail polish brush?

My poor kemper was already destroyed, so I have no guilt. Khoo, however, drew this. I was going to trade for his bust, then I spied an ENFU girl so I grabbed that instead...he got the hurt so I explained that it had a heart so it won. Then he made it "khoo-ter" (too much pun?).

Tippy got Gavin to make a Castle Merch mod, inspired by @sireniti who was inspired by @TheAggroCraig and his love of castle guys. Also @Hingo got castle Merch shirts made for PAX South. It is a real castle guy renaissance around here.

what would be the difference between FINE and EXTRA FINE tips? im looking at two different packs online,

Extra fine is ideal, it's suuuuper tiny and wonderful to work with. Fine would probably be doable and more colors are always fun.

@Ayefkay artists said they preferred extra fine because of the level of detail it provides. However, fine is a good thickness for fills.
