I don't like the new final fantasy, the party is just goth japanese teenagers who don't look interesting or visually distinct at all

is this Final Fantasy: Bros on a Roadtrip?

Because I think being bros on a roadtrip in a game would be fun

I generally agree but I saw mad max at home and i suspect i would have enjoyed it better in the theater.

I saw it in the theatre and found it kind of eh

But yeah spectacle can be improved, though I don't think it's really worth so much money and inconvenience

I have to pee 1 to 3 times during any given 3 hour period though, so that influences my stance

mad max was so rad in the theater because of the audience

everyone was holding their breath through the first action sequence and when it faded to black you could hear everyone sigh and a few people going "holy shit"

Movies in theaters is a communal experience.

And one that can really raise a meh to movie to good and an amazing movie to memory making heights.

I think the quality of the movie theater experience really has less to do with the screen and now to do with the sound quality.

Like black swan was incredible in theater, and it was all because of the auditory wow

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

Who are you to deny their love, monster

Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
    A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
    Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
    Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

Having not played a final fantasy game in over 20 years and knowing jack shit about the "lore". It seems that the entire franchise was made by someone who thought Zelda has too much goddamn continuity.

The best movie audience experience I think I've ever had was seeing the first Matrix sequel. The audience anticipation was very high. And then my (now) wife yelled "Motherfucker!" at the top of her lungs on the cliffhanger and everyone laughed and laughed. We had friends in the next theater over hear her

The other side o the coin is that a bad crowd can really hurt a movie

And i'm not just talking about cell phone use and crying babies and stuff but also just when an audience just reacts to a movie in a terrible way

Like when I went to see Fargo and Hateful 8 and there was a real frathousey atmosphere both times and the audience was like HA HA HA THAT GUY JUST GOT HORRIFICALLY MURDERED HA HA HA HO HO HO HO HO HO

Yeah, I remember seeing one where they staged a scene in which a wedding dress retailer ended a fitting when she found out that the dress was for a lesbian wedding. It had a better ending, though, insofar as a lot of the customer-bystanders they staged the scene in front of got angry and confronted the retailer about how it was wrong, everyone deserves to feel special on their wedding, etc. etc.

the way my bedroom is set up. It's rather large with a sort of wooden counter top that runs along 2 sides of the room (basement, used to be work bench i'm guessing)

So i'm thinking with some wood and cheap carpeting and paint, i can make a cool cat walk that kinda runs along the room that the cat can follow and play on

i mean it would probably ignore it and never use it ever

but it would still be cool

My friend and her girlfriend did this and their cat loves it.

it honestly seems like a really fun project to do, and just seeing the cat zoom around the outskirts of the room is kinda humorous to me

    It really can't?

The only other final fantasy I can think of that this applies to is maybe final fantasy 8, the worst one, and that one had flying gunsword schools

Think of the other ones, 4,6,7,9,10,12. "Not Visually Distinct" is a criticism that Final Fantasy doesn't really suffer from (or idk I hated 13 and didn't play it for more than an hour)

no I agree, and they should have cuz clothes are a big part of the first impression

I guess im saying, when I froze the frame for the side by side comparison

is I mentally was like, white dude looks a bit more prep than black dude. clothes less baggy, jeans instead of sweats
