I foiled a tortoise's escape plan today. Dummy was halfway across the road in a pretty busy suburban road. So I pulled over and picked his heavy ass up and took him back to his likely origin.

What's frightening about that is basically all professional race track drivers do that whenever they can. It's like 12% faster to be essentially adjacent to the wall, and these guys do that like it's as easy as breathing. I get fucking nervous if the guy next to me skirts the line of his lane! Fuck getting millimeters from a damn wall!

Also is it me, or is there a teeny tiny doodar sticking off his wing mirror. Seems like it could be/is being used as a handy measuring stick for that perfect mm gap from the wall.
