By itself, the eyes would be more vulnerable to debris and would quickly dry out, the nasal and ear canals would be vulnerable to infection. The eyes would probably be the biggest risk in this case.
Face guy takes all the underlying tissue below it as well. Skin guy leaves all the muscle/vasculature behind, leaving it prone to bacteria, radiation, and dehydration. Plus any physical damage that could be done from touching anything.
bone in alive things is living tissue as well, it's just as vulnerable to those things.
like you think of bone as being an inanimate material because the only way you usually see it is after it's dead, but in things that are still alive it's just as alive and active and vulnerable as other internal organs. It is most definitely not safer to expose to the outside than other internal tissues.

Soft tissue is far more vulnerable to disease, radiation and damage than hard tissue.
Obviously neither is ideal or safe, but the bone face is far safer than no skin.
I think Skin guy is like a gen 1 ghost. The monster isn't loyal to him and he's not protected by the energy as they fuck with with them they get ones like the arm and finally the version being used now

Something I've been wondering about KILL SIX BILLION DEMONS. The magic everyone uses, has its nature been stated? I mean, is it basically the same power and spells everyone uses in their own way, like say in Harry Potter. Or is it that everyone gets their own personalized set of magical abilities, like Naruto or The Last Airbender?
Are there variants of the Art other than the white arts and red arts? Like a black/ebon art or a green/verdant art?.
Just white, black, and red.
Red is the art of altering the existing universe (parts of that already exist), altering the other. White is the art of altering the self. The red/white mixed art is the art of altering others (conscious beings) since it involves changing their perception of self as well.
Black is extremely rare, has very few practitioners (none of the demiurges can perform it) and it is only used for one purpose, which is pure creation (something from nothing). The red art requires existing material to warp, black requires none. The ultimate use of the black art is to kindle flame and create life from nothing.
It is said someone that masters all three arts can spin the wheel and laugh at god. But such a man or woman would be true royalty, and beyond the petty applications of the art in the first place
The motherlode! A chest full of Tamian amber drops is one thing, but having your selection of the other currencies gives a little more financial freedom for the Sand Spiders!
Bags out, money in! The heist seems to be going off without a hitch, which is curious, don’t you think? I mean, all that money just sitting there unguarded? Clearly some guards are in dereliction of their duty — or maybe they’re otherwise occupied elsewhere in the embassy? Guess we’ll find out what’s happening soon enough!
Sometimes executing a task sub-optimally makes me want to try it again, which might mean jumping off a cliff or running face-first into an enemy or otherwise killing myself to reload the encounter. I think that means there are a lot of alternate universes across many games where Our Hero accidentally uses the wrong item and decides life isn't worth living anymore. The Last of Us

Also I have been reading sluggy since it started.
That makes me feel a tiny bit better. I'm about 6 years behind you, starting in 2003. But I still guess wrong pretty much all the time.
Eh, just means you get to be surprised! Trust me, that is the better option.
Also part of my job for the past 15 years has been discerning patterns and predicting plausible outcomes, which I've been told I excel at. You didn't miss out on any obvious clue or foreshadowing for this to happen.
I'm not sure if that 3PS is slightly offensive or just not funny.

Both? More? Statistically speaking, it is Asian women and Black men as the two race/genders who are most likely to be a part of some interracial couple, so it's not even an accurate joke.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
