Hey all - just recovering from the Post PAX Depression back in Vancouver.
Both my wife and I were mostly successful with our finds and trades this time around. The only two we're missing are a Gold Overwatch pin for my collection, and an Aus Kemper (upside down) for hers. Fortune was not in the cards for those two.

For all the pin experts out there,
I'm looking to possibly trade for the Witcher pin from East '16. Any ideas on what a comparable 1:1 trade (if any) would be from West this year or last? Trade value is lost on me, as I'm a selective pin collector.

Crowd sourced an opinion a bit as I wasn't hugely informed on how the Prime/West pin-quest went this year.
The short answer is "Probably not anything of 1:1 value, but maybe Mysterion depending on whether it stays pretty limited or is eventually put for sale through Ubisoft's website."
Ebay (sold listings) is always good to double-check values - Witcher piqued over $100, but seems to have settled at $75-85. Mysterion (which seems to be the most valuable pin at this point) is going around $60. Now maybe someone would go for that and you could try, but you're probably looking at going 2:1 for it.

I did scout eBay and found a few, but couldn't pull the trigger on the asking price. I know the only way to pick up the Mysterion pin was via the South Park panel, which I attended. Not sure how many they handed out in total. Although I'd hate to let it go, I enjoy the Witcher series a bit more.

Yeah. It's kind of a gamble both ways? Like, if you could find someone to make that trade, it's probably in your favour regardless, but definitely becomes so if you can later buy Mysterion for a fraction of the cost. But at the same time that's a factor that's probably going to keep a lot of Witcher-holders from making the trade ... Cyclic stuff and whatnot.
Ultimately you can only work towards it. Witcher being what it is, you likely just need to find parties interested in parting with it and letting them dictate the terms a bit. While it's settled at $80ish for now, it isn't hugely likely to drop much from there either, so you're probably looking at that ballpark for a while.
