So I'm sitting at a coffee shop as usual and there is a couple behind me and they are having a "talk".

So I'm thinking about studying abroad this summer, because time spent learning in another country beats sitting on my ass playing games all summer.
My university apparently has formed a strong bond with the University of Cambridge, because it's the one they push for the most. And really, it looks like it's probably the best choice for me anyhow.
But it's $6,000 for 4 weeks. Airfare, spending money and lunch not included.
It's gonna come out to like... a shitload. Some 8-9 thousand. For just 4 weeks.
Four weeks in another country, so that's neat. But 8 grand? 2,000 a week? It's not Mars. It's England.
I can probably work for some scholarships, and hopefully beg my dad for the rest, maybe even take out some loans.

I went to China last summer for 4 weeks, cost approx 5k. I could have easily done it for 4k had I a)been better at bargaining, and b) hadn't bought pearls for pretty much all the women I know.

Yeah, but my family is Australian so I was raised on black tea. Anytime anything bad happens we put on the kettle, make a nice cup of tea with sugar and milk, and lo and behold, everything looks better. I've only recently started to like sweet tea and green tea.
