the original Link and Zelda languished on store shelves for over a year, and the newer ones were plenty easy to find until BotW hit and demand for all of them skyrocketed.
that was only a couple months ago - way, way too recent to up production on these, given how slow they've been turning the boat on that front
Not that Nintendo isn't dumb with production issues; but making the assumption that Gamestop only got in 3 for preorders because of a limit from Nintendo, vs Gamestop Gamestoping, seems unjustifiably charitable to them.

Got my "Sky Warred Sword" amiibo from Amazon. Looks decent except for the drooping sword. Why is it so hard to mold a straight piece of plastic? Is it not 2017?
