    Definitely scooping of the Mario Odyssey trio, Goomba, and Koopa. The Mario series is my favorite amiibo line and if I were to ever go on a purge those are the ones that are definitely staying in my collection.

    Kinda want the Metroid 2-pack but I'm not a huge Metroid fan and they seem to be sold out anyway.

    I never was terribly attached to the Champions, so not interested in those.

    Took a trip across the border today to ride up Mt Baker in Washington. Unfortunately we were about 1km short of making it all the way to the top, for reasons you'll see in the photos.

    Well third time seems to be the charm.

    I checked the wheel again, didn't find anything that was obviously the cause.
    Put in a new tube anyway and that one is holding up so far.

    I will bet you a spare tube that there's still a metal burr in there. The tube is just seated in such a way that it hasn't rubbed against it yet. Blowing several tubes like that just doesn't happen unless you're secretly hopping every curb on the ride.

    If it happens again I'll just replace the wheel. It's already pretty worn down compared to the front wheel, so might not be a bad idea anyway.

    Holy shit the Smash Link amiibo goes for $60+ new on Amazon? Goddamn. I bought a spare about a year back because the one I bought at Smash's launch in 2014 had a bit of paint missing on the base. (Due to some glue seeping out.)

    I was intending on opening the new one and selling the old one but crap maybe I should do the opposite.

    Or maybe I should sell both while the gettings good, I dunno.

    Nice. Grabbed the Skyward Sword amiibo since I don't have a good Link amiibo in my collection yet. Don't like the butter stand Link and don't like the pose on the TP Link. Don't care for the BotW Links because he doesn't have his traditional garb. Don't care for the Young or Toon Links. Don't care for 8 bit Link.

    I think Skyward Sword Link was made just for me!

    Spotted some breath of the wild Amiibo at a GameStop I poked my head into this evening. I was tempted to get Zelda and a pink yarn yoshi that was on clearance, but I wasn't in the mood to spend money. Bleh.

    the original Link and Zelda languished on store shelves for over a year, and the newer ones were plenty easy to find until BotW hit and demand for all of them skyrocketed.
    that was only a couple months ago - way, way too recent to up production on these, given how slow they've been turning the boat on that front

    I work at a Gamestop and we just got a huge backlog of BotW amiibo in, so I wouldn't be surprised if warehouse was hoarding them. Still haven't seen any 30th Anniversary resurface though. And yeah, I called around the nearby stores and it seems like everyone only got the pre-order allocation worth of TP Link in.

    Got my "Sky Warred Sword" amiibo from Amazon. Looks decent except for the drooping sword. Why is it so hard to mold a straight piece of plastic? Is it not 2017?
