I kind of like how Hero Academia actually addresses the consequences of having literal superheroes and supervillains in a modern society and what that means in regards to things like public perception and commercializing heroism with the various agencies"
Also I liked Stain as a villain. Very understandable motivations.
How fucking incredible was that entire confrontation between All Might and All For One?
All might giving every ounce of the last of his power into his destroyed arm to unleash the United States of Smash in a beautifully animated punch that rivals the impact of anything I’ve seen, followed up by the fist in the air and the speech passing the torch to Deku. Just, perfection.

It's weird experiencing how fast the anime has caught up to the manga, at least the English translations
I immediately bought everything out after I got caught up and have bought each release and it is basically caught up with the most recent volume of the English release
So I've gone from being WAY ahead in the story to now being once again in the dark and experience the anime with no spoilers
This latest season has been great and has even made me start liking bakugo, who I found to be more tedious than anything until s3. Somehow liking his character now makes me like him in the first two seasons a lot more too somehow
Froppy is the best because she is clearly the most competent hero in the entire fucking class and does so much with the power set of “well I guess a frog can do that?”

It has some real shitty "obligatory" shonen perv bullshit both with how some female characters are designed (Momo) and how some male characters behave (Mineta)
And there's some extremely shitty transphobic stuff that pops up during the Summer Camp storyline, more so in the manga via creator commentary between chapters

Oof I never read any of that. About the guy in the Pussycat trio or?

There is a trans woman as well.
Who becomes the first named character to die outside of a flashback.

MHA rules, All Might is a top 5 superhero of all time and I love everyone except Mineta who should be wiped from existence

not because there will be porn (which is a given)
but because you’ll be treated to ~the discourse~ of whether or not she is an abusive parent
anyway i’ve constantly got this seasons opening stuck in my head
Hero agencies with license programs and internships
Sponsorship deals and sporting events with super folks
A cottage industry of professional child and elder actors who act as victims during hero training and grade their performance and effectiveness
