How many regular people on earth do think are still dead because they had already been brought back by the dragon balls before? It’s gotta be a lot.
Do you mean at the end of the Cell saga? The only previous mass resurrection on earth at that point was for King Piccolo, so probably not that much overlap.
Looking it up, it's funny that they never did a wish for the people killed by Vegeta and Nappa.
I meant just, in general at the point Z/Super is now.
Of course they’ve changed what the different balls can do so many times it’s hard to keep track. I think by the end of Z the Namek balls could basically revive any number of people any number of times.
Poor King Kai.

Maybe it counted Nappa as one of Frieza’s Men for the purposes of the wish
It would be so for the abridged version. Heck, Nappa got revived in this version because Vegeta was Freeza's man at the time Nappa was killed by him.
Yeah, but not the ones killed by Nappa. Vegeta calls him on this and Nappa says "Well, technically I was working for you at the time."
Aww. I figured with Dragon Ball Super: Broly releasing in the USA as well, it was a regular international release, but it looks like it won't be shown in cinemas here in germany after all...

Oh right. If Nappa counted as one of Frieza's men in the show then Yamcha and Tien would have both been revived, huh?

Viz has the new chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga up on their website now.

A new chapter of Super’s manga is out.
Chapter 40:
I am so glad we got the anime version of this arc cause boy is this trash. 17 is dead which means we can’t do the anime ending. I can’t imagine them doing the Goku/Frieza team up so Vegeta can win considering he just had his “I’m a selfish asshole” speech. I really have to imagine this is just gonna come down to Goku winning like always.

The greatest anime game ever is Zatch Bell because it's basically just supervised baby fights.

Wow, the manga has a much better characterization of Jimenez
He decides to go full power because he disapproves of 17 losing his life and wants to end the fight quickly before anything else goes wrong.
It’s a tad bit silly because if Jiren wins then universe 7 is deleted anyway and are for all intents and purposes dead. Well, worse than dead because it also deletes the afterlife of that universe.

Ok that was autocorrect but I’m not changing it because man what?

I like the manga more than the anime. The anime was, well, anime. It did lots of flashy shonen things for the sake of flashy shonen things regardless of the actual context of the situation ("Five minutes until Namek explodes!"). Whereas the manga seems more in line with the premise of big free-for-all fight on featureless terrain and yes there is a timer ticking down, so take all that into account before unleashing your super ultra finisher and wiping out your teammates because the arena is pretty small. Yeah people are getting chumped left and right but that's because there's nowhere for them to spread out like the anime, so something like Kale going Legendary Super Saiyan means there's plenty of nearby targets for her to overwhelm in a couple seconds before people realize what's going on.

on the other hand consider that that is replacing the "Roshi's serious training for the tournament is learning to resist his urge to sexually assault women just a little" thing which is a giant dumpster fire that should have been left back in the 80s
