    We literally didn't even get introduced to them. They walked in, that's it. For a series that otherwise hurtles forward at an impressive pace, this episode had nothing in it.

    dangit you're right. I always get them mixed up because my brain is weird.
    I think dub folks are not yet caught up to the contents of this spoiler
    Dabi sounds like Double which means the same as Twice and that one time Dabi got Doubled by Twice so they are inextricably smushed together in my head now.

    I am a fan of second opening of season two.

    The current one is, sadly, my least favourite of them all. I feel like it's completely uninspired, just a bunch of scenes one after another with little to no connection between them.

    It feels a piece with the series right now, though. The big arcs are done, the next big arcs are bubbling under the surface, so we have a period of character-based stories and lower-stakes action.

    They have enough Manga to cover about 20 episodes at least for next season. They have like, two minor arcs and one major one locked and loaded no doubt.

    And I am willing to bet that they finish this current arc and get it in for the show.

    Which, speaking of which:
    There is some criticism that the story pretty much goes "League of Villains attack! -> UA Exams -> League of Villains attack! -> UA Exams -> ad infinim"

    But, well, yeah.

    But the meat in those stories is so good!

    Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

    Yeah I guess even though season 1 was just an adaption it did well enough to get a new original series

    I feel like the pacing might be improved with the upcoming arc by being animated, you're getting two-ish chapters a week.

    It felt slow getting a chapter a week when it was releasing, but reads much more smoothly once it was complete.
